Starlog Magazine: Revisiting the past...

I've never forgiven them for the V'Ger spoiler, but it was the coolest thing around, and SO important... I have a few lurking in the collection as well.

I hope they do the same for "Famous Monsters of Filmland". Specifically, I'm looking for issue 129. Its cover story focused on "Future World", but it had an article about "Doctor Who", my very first exposure to that entertainment property (predating the info' I garnered from StarLog by several years). I'd like to read it again. I think it might have been a reprint of an article originally written in the 60s, which may be why I can't recall any stuff from the 70s mentioned.

Sincerely,

Bill

Wish there was an archive like this for Dreamwatch. That was my favorite magazine covering SF/F.

Dreamwatch was absolutely awesome in its heyday, I agree. I think it hit its stride as Starlog started to wane. I remember being really surprised to see the first copy in the newsstand in my corner shop. It evolved from DWB, yes?

^^^
Yeah, it was DWB - Doctor Who Bulletin and then DreamWatch Bulletin - as a fanzine, and then became Dreamwatch as a professional magazine.

OMNI is now also online.

There was a Starlog issue that featured art of a new ship from a movie called "Monolith" or "Monument". Can anyone find that?
