You know, the TNG evolving Pokemon, the useless pedophilic alien, and the helmsman whose entire back story was he flew one or two ships before the one he's flying now.
That was your idea! My contributions to the same were minimal. Minimal, at best. 7 proposing having a child with Kes would be a very possible story idea, that's all I conceded to! And it would be very clinical, in nature. Purely for "raw" materials and nothing more. Especially, if they were very close friends - as they should've been, because Kes belonged on Voyager. But there would be no "mating" involved. Kes and Seven can hug in a sisterly fashion, though. No ass or boob grabbing! They can kiss, too, provided that said kisses are not hungry and tongue-filled! Make them sisterly! Being with Kes in a "Biblical" way - with a capital "B" - is a matter for MEN!!! That was my re-edit and contribution to your princely plan ...
Kes and Seven looking smug while Neelix rummages the galley looking for that turkey baster and chocolate sauce? This episode has promise. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5l9uIfPzp4[/yt]
You mean the incest part? Sisterly kissing while making babies? Well maybe.. I mean, we have Game of Thrones incest so I can see how 2takes might want it in Trek as well. Personally I find that a bit icky but of course Trek can get around it with "this is alien culture, duh".
So, that's why the Delany sisters never seemed to get it on with anyone. As for other crew, could Tal Celes's nervousness with Seven be from their unresolved sexual tension?
Any Kes/Seven "love-scenario" is totally irrelevant because neither Kes, nor Seven were supposed to be that way. Nothing of that in any producer/writer manual for the series. Those who want lesbian Star trek characters will have to wait for a possible new series with such characters or invent new characters for some fan-fiction story.
Kira had Keiko's baby for her that time! Both names starting with "K" - don't ask me why. And they were not sisters! Nor were they lovers! Kes having Seven's baby is not all that different, at least not from my perspective. Perhaps we can all collaborate on a piece of Fan Fiction ... as a way to strengthen our bonds in friendship! I'm confident we can contrive a satisfying read and will even volunteer for the editing/rewriting chores, as well. Fan Fiction can, indeed, be all things to all people. I believe we are up to the challenge!
