:klingon:

rainy night but now it's calming down. It's very warm and smells of spring. The first blackbird sang this morning when I went to work =)

Random blizzard! Weeeeeee!

The next few days are supposed to be in the 40s, though. And Thursday it's supposed to rain.

We're gonna have so much flooding!

I was at work for two hours this morning, and in that time we got about 3 inches of snow. I couldn't believe how fast it fell.

We all basically decided to call it an early day, so now I'm home contemplating building a snowman and day drinking.

35 F and bright sun. We'll be getting substantially warmer as the week goes on.

Here's the thing...the temp is supposed to drop for the weekend. All that water is going to freeze...and we're getting more snow!

The good times roll on!

This weekend should push this year to number 2 on the snow statistics.

We'll see. I have a hard time trusting forecasts more than a couple days in advance. So far it says we've only got about a 30% chance of snow on Saturday.

All I know is that yesterday, the forecast for today called for 1-3 inches of light snow. We definitely got about 6. I was at work for two hours this morning, and in that short about of time I easily had 3 inches on top of my car. I could barely get out of the parking lot.

We broke a record today!

This has officially been the snowiest winter my city has seen since 1884! 53.3 inches as of a few hours ago, and we still have until the end of the month to top that (the "winter weather" season runs from Dec 1 - Feb 28).

It started snowing about 10 minutes ago and we're already getting some accumulation. I hope nobody actually wanted me to show up to all the meetings I have scheduled today.

It's been in the 40's and 50's F the past couple of days. It is supposed to rain overnight and tomorrow, be warm for a few days, and back to cold weather next week.

62 F, mild and loving it. It feels like spring or even summer compared to most of the past month.

rain and sun taking turns here. Yesterday it rained reddish dust from the Sahara!
It's rather warm, around 8°C at noon. And the hazelnuts start to flower:
