The "Fresh" Yeoman appreciation thread

Since the other Yeoman appreciation thread was closed (even though people were posting in it), I guess we can continue here.

Yeoman Doris Atkins from "The Deadly Years" is a hottie. Don't often see her mentioned. I'm going to have to rewatch that episode since I skipped it during my last Trek marathon.

Were there any Yeoman in TNG/DS9/VOY? Does Naomi Wildman count as one? And it really seems like there should have been a small army of them aboard DS9, but I guess members of the Bajoran Militia were handling those tasks?

Edit: Just realized this was forum drift. I'll start a thread in General. Back on topic, or at least closer to it, my favorite Yeoman: Melanie Shatner.

I like the Yeoman from STV too (despite she does nothing), but her hair is even weirder than Janice Rand's (:luvlove::luvlove::luvlove:).

I'll take you home again, Janice

Don't play coy. You've been here long enough to know that necroing a years-dead thread is a no-no. :)

Yeoman Mears, Galileo 7:

She deserved more appearances--she was not the usual silent, light on opinion yeoman common to the series.
Really? She made zero impression on me as a character.

She displayed a backbone when barking at Spock--that's rare for a yeoman in the TOS period. If she could play angry / frustrated, i'm sure the PTB could have used her in other situations, rather than just standing around with a Tricorder.

Yeah, that thread was a danger to us all. Better nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

If you have a problem with it you can send me a PM. Otherwise, please don't derail this thread with comments about closing the other one.

Thanks.

Weeeellll, don't know if this counts, but she was one of the hippie chicks in "The Way to Eden":

To be fair with people who prefer gentlemen...if you like them more latino, there's Samno and if you're into bears, you have Burke.
:p:p

Yeoman Atkins was pretty cool...

The name of this thread makes me want to write a parody of the theme to "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" about it, each time I see it. I'm resisting, but it isn't easy.
