My only technical nit-pick with this episode is some of the camera angles used in the transporter room. While I am sure that the Phase II team built the set according to the TOS layout, the camera angles sometimes showed how small that room really is.
The hallway outside the transporter room was definitely much smaller than what was shown in TOS. I suppose one could argue that it was a different transporter room than the one we were used to seeing but that's reaching a bit.
What was the name of the other Constitution class Starship that we saw, I don't think it was mentioned but was there a name chosen? Same for the single nacelle ship, did it have a name?
And McCoy ended up being wrong about not being around to see the Klingon High Council in 100 years. But of course that line was thrown in because of that.
Our VFX man, Mr. Tobias Richter weighed in on this issue in an earlier "Kitumba" thread on this board:
"The other Connie is the NCC-1700 Constitution and the destroyer is the NCC-500 Saladin."
Was that the actor Christopher Lloyd as a Klingon in the Tavern?
The Christopher Lloyd-ish Klingon in the Tavern is John Paladin (credited as "Kluge").

The Klingon K't'ingas looked impressive. It made me think of the K't'ingas in TMP.

I like the corvette line.
Do Klingon ships operate within the atmosphere? One seemed to be circling the palace like a helicopter.

- One question I have. Some Klingons beam into the climactic fight using the Federation transporter effect. Shouldn't they have come in using the red-flashing effect used in "Day of the Dove"?
No, they do NOT use the Federation effect, they use a variation of the effect seen in Day Of The Dove, just with horizontal swirling. Look again.
I should know, I created it.
The Federation people come off the Enterprise, with K'Sia along, using the standard Federation transporter. Again, I created it.
