Crockpot does his best work in the wintertime.
Indeed. Looks like a nice stew or soup you have going there.
My own crock pot has been getting quite a workout this week ... pork shoulder on Monday, barbecue chicken yesterday and chili today (that I got up at 5:30 a.m. to start making).
Now I want some bowls of hot stew.

Where is this? I've seen ruins of old mills along the Potomac north of DC.
^ Patapsco Valley State Park. So, along the Patapsco, not the Potomac.
We use to live in Great Neck before moving to Syracuse. My wife worked at LIJ Hospital.
