I loved Devastator's "Prepare for extermination" from the movie!

Edit: What are some episodes with Devastator making these epic lines?

    Devastator was generally pretty inarticulate.

On the other hand, if you think "Prepare for extermination" is epic, maybe it won't be that hard to find some.

Somewhat amusingly, he refers to himself in the third person in his first episode, "Heavy Metal War."

Sorry for the double post, but I can no longer edit my last one. On the topic of Devastator, here's a cool custom set of Constructicons.

That is actually the Maketoys Giant. It's not a custom, but rather a Transformer manufactured by a third party company (without Hasbro's approval). Very recommended toy though pricey.

What about good lines from the other 'merger' transformers like Bruticus?

I stand corrected, then. :) I know there are some nice third party parts for sale (though not cheaply as you mention) that are more show accurate and designed to work with existing toys.

Personally, I'd want this custom Predaking if there was more than one and the price wasn't ridiculous. A man can dream. :rommie:

Fans Project also gave it a go with their version of Devastator called 'Hercules'

TFC actually. I believe the MT one was designed by the person who did FP's Bruticius.

That kind of unofficial Devastator, reminded me of a recent Arcee transformer (based on her movie appearance) which was called Delicate Warrior (see it here), which is an interesting label, because warriors, by definition, are not (or at least shouldn't be) delicate. Even female warriors shouldn't have delicacy as their most notable trait, but somehow I think it was appropriate in her case. She often stayed away from the front lines in order to protect the humans, but I remember as kids, me and a friend of mine were worried when she got hurt (as in Dark Awakening, Dweller in the Depths, and Rebirth).

I haven't been able to find anything else like this. The Stunticons were awesome as well though!

There's plenty we never got in the UK, occasionally we got the wrong poster and it was a world of wonder seeing photos of these toys you could never own. I had a friend who was Australian and I think he had Swoop.

From memory we never originally got the Constructions*, Shockwave, Predacons either. Half the Pretenders. I think the Omega Surpreme model was available, but not the Transfomers release.

    * we did get some dodgy illegal paint imports a few years later, then even later than that some releases that didn't have the combining connectors.

I've seen that one while surfing the web in the past. This is the first time I realized that all five Constructicons are actual separate pieces that can transform into their robot modes. I always thought it was just one complete piece, because it's incredibly detailed and eerily close to the cartoon appearance.

They are made in the same factories as Hasbro's transformers, but they don't have to follow Hasbro's in-house design guidelines (which imo really hobbled the recent Bruticus) nor do their work have to really undergo any safety testing for that matter.
