The Continuity and Serialization of Voyager

You would think that, but really there were only a handfull of temporal cold war episodes in season one and two that were not the pilot or a season finale/start.

Not unlike the early seasons of The X-Files.

In the first two seasons of that series, 13 episodes had to do with the mytharc (about 26.5%)

On Enterprise, there were 8 episodes in the first two seasons that had to do with the temporal cold war (9 if you count the double length pilot as two episodes, or about 17%).

The only time Voyager ever tried to do something so ambitious was with the Kazon and Seska during season two. Otherwise, there's really no comparison between the two shows in terms of their serialization and treatment of continuity.

What if it was the Cerealization. What would the toy in the box be.

Plastic replica of Neelix's lung?

Borg sphere the size of a gumball?

ONE stick from a Kal-toh game (collect all the sticks!)

Toys for free are so crappy these days.

The toy surprises inside Crackerjack caramel popcorn snack are really bad now too. In the 50s and 60s, you could get little plastic rings to wear, a compass in case you got lost, maybe a little handheld pinball game... now they're a piece of paper with something printed on it.

Episodes where the baddies tries to eat the crew?

Macrocosm.

Fovourite Son

Coda.

Nothing Human.

Flotter T. Water?

Life size?

Adjustable arms for hugging?

Wow...

He was accused of beating a stringer for the Star tabloid during an altercation on September 7 1999. He was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery and one count of committing a hate crime. He agreed to a six-figure settlement with the reporter who accused him of an anti-gay hate crime on January 26th 2000. The altercation between the two men stemmed from remarks that the reporter allegedly made about Langham's girlfriend.

Dark Flotter.

Now RF jammer kits have played an important role in helping people during their daily life and help them in many other aspects. Have you ever heard and seen such a device such as the Remote Control Jammer and want to know more about in what aspect it can help you and how can you make full use of it? You have come to the right place if you are with such opinion and www.jammerall.com can be the best place for you to start your first step with.

I thought this was about the reviewer, Jammer.

APPARENTLY NOT

There is not serialization.

With rare exceptions, the episodes do not carry on one after the other.

Digific only "proved" that Voyager had more than zero continuity.

And all that really proved is that you shouldn't speak figuratively to anal people.

And most did agree, very early on this in thread that VOY had some continuity?

Am I the only one who would have liked to have seen Year of Hell turned into a proper mini-arc? Maybe over five or six stories.

You are not. It would have been amazing to see it unfold more slowly. Plus with a two-parter viewers could be pretty sure the status-quo would return, whereas an arc would have kept us guessing.

As I recall from reading it on this forum which means nothing as to its truth Year of Hell was originally conceived to be an entire season.

That would have been so so excellent.

It would indeed. I'm a little unsure of the idea mooted that Tuvok would become an amputee as well as blind, though.

Brannon pitched it, and was shot down immediately by the network who assumed continuity meant that any one whop missed an episode would give up and no new viewers would join in because there was too much to catch up on.

The usual sit y'know?

Spock had his brain removed and put back in his skull with no side-effects. I'm sure they'd find some alien doctor who could easily fix Tuvok's sight as soon as they could.

Of course, even if they waited a long time and had the explanation make total sense, the audience would still say it was a reset button.

Doubt it. But, let's just admit that neither of us has a crystal ball and move on from making hypothetical pronouncements about the audience.
