^Like a hero really needs a mask... oh crap, Aunt May, Marry Jane, Gwen Stacy, Pepper Potts, Kayla Silverfox, Betty Ross, Lois Lane, Vicki Vale, and Rachel Dawes have all been kidnapped.

Ha! Rachel Dawes got kidnapped before he removed the mask! Heck, he didn't even remove the mask!

Leaping for Rachel and leaving the Joker with the crowd removed a mask in the pretense form. The Joker knew Batman cared for her, enough to believe he was Harvey Dent, so he kidnapped Rachel.

He would have jumped to save anyone though. Or do you think he would have let a random waitress fall to death?

One of the reasons I like the Nolan films.

Yeah, what Nolan did right is make Bruce Wayne a well-developed character so Christian Bale got plenty of time outside the mask without the need for Batman to be without a mask.

To me, that makes it even weirder that Spider-Man loses the mask in so many of the movies because Peter Parker is one of the stronger characters as well and the actor usually gets quite a bit of face time. However, from a studio perspective, I bet they're jealous that not every hero can be Superman, Thor, the X-Men or, to a lesser extent, Captain America.

The second time I saw that scene, I figured Joker should have thrown three more people from the window to see if Batman could catch them too after he landed with Rachel. One person is not enough to leave Joker with a room full of hostages.

At least Batman could have knocked Joker out before jumping.

I thought the three unmasking scenes in Spider-Man 2 were all awesome (accidentally on the train, by Harry, and on purpose in front of Doc Ock and Mary Jane).

I was thinking over the ways I was going to revenge on 005 :klingon:, when TheSeeker's video sapped my will to live :(. Thankfully, bbjeg's animated gif brought it back :)!

^The identity reveal/Mary Jane reaction won that movie for me. Regardless that those spider-punches should have grounded the Doc, part two was my favorite of that trilogy.

Happy to help. :techman:
