Revolution Season 2 - spoilers

Having Monroe seemingly die by lethal injection was way too convenient.

Question is, did Rachael's dad intentionally fake the execution by injecting Monroe with a non-lethal tranquilizer that only made him unconscious and appear deceased?

I doubt that Gene had anything to do with it. I think that Rachel simply switched the drugs out. Also with Rachel's father being a Patriot mole it explains why they didn't just lock her away. They had someone watching her to see what she was up to.

Was Charlie seriously getting all teary-eyed at Monroe's execution? She was just trying to kill him herself for crying out loud. The characters are so inconsistent in this show.

Exactly. That's one of the things that just drives me batty. I really like Aaron, though, and that's pretty much the only thing that keeps me watching---well, that and Hubby wants to keep watching.

Love how the writers brought in exposition lady to explain everything to Aaron.

 That what I thought. How convenient that she can just come in, unload a huge chunk of information, and allow us to skip over any unnecessary drama that might let us learn things for ourselves.

Most of the time she plays the mom on Scot Baio's family friendly nick at night sitcom.

Other times she plays a sodomy enthusiast rockstar wife on with the worst English accent on Californication.

Girl gets around.

You know, Revolution is kind of like nuTrek.

I don't really think the stories are that good, but the casting is fantastic! :)

(Shouldn't say that about the story of STID, it was pretty good)

There isn't a dud in the entire lot!

I'm in, as long as Elizabeth Mitchell is in it.

Miss midriff (Charlie) isn't bad to look at either.

My favorite of the bunch is Giancarlo... he's just awesome in that part.

This next episode should be an interesting one for sure. It loks like Monroe just might bight the bullet.

There's no way Monroe is dead, I'm just not sure who's responsible for his survival at this point.

At first I thought Miles passed something to Monroe through his bandaged hand when they shook goodbye.

They should have just killed Monroe. I feel like his story is done at this point. It would have established the personal threat of the Patriots.

Captain Braxton travelled through time and tweaked the ratings on the cape, forcing an unnatural and undeserved cancellation so that David Lyons would be freeed (Three Es! Wow!) up for Revolution.

You have to trust that 29th century time cops know what they are doing and working towards the common good.

Wait, doesn't Bret have diabetes? Wouldn't he pretty much be dead after 15 years without insulin?
