The tie-in episodes of Enterprise were good, enough to count them as Prime, but I wasn't a fan of that TNG holographic recap ending.

I want the prime timeline back because I love the setting in terms of ships, characters, politics of the different races. But I would also like to see new writers who could rejuvenate the prime timeline with fresh ideas.

I would be totally okay with Girl Kirk.

Cool! It's a shame we didn't get to see her ride up to the Enterprise.

I wonder if IDW saw that video....

^A female Kirk wouldn't work because the things that makes James T. Kirk a stud would make Jamie T. Kirk a whore. :p

Gender standards aside, a female Kirk would probably be as good as her counterpart.

The old gender reversal problem in a male dominated sexist world. What if Barney Stinson was a woman? Or gay. The character's acceptance would be completely different.

Hey, for my idea To Bold Go (see this subforum) I actually did have a female Kirk, probably his nephew Peter's grand-daughter. And a female Vulcan!

I voted yes for the prime time line! Something like "Titan" different, but still Star Trek, picking up where STNG left off... sort of.

Regards,
Chuck

Yes, yes, yes and yes again!

Bring in Q or Captain Braxton to fix the "Adamsrift" and give us a new series with new characters in the timeline shortly after the end of Voyager.
