It's a porn film, they're all doing it for pay.
"Community"? How many people really complained? Sorry, but I'm part of the "gay community" and most of us don't care about stupid (and obvious) "gay/bi/straight for pay" ploys like that designed to sell videos....this truly angered the gay community.
I think what's more anger-inducing is thinking everyone can fit into one of three categories, or that he was just doing it for pay.
You do realize that your facts might simply be advertising?I'm just relating the facts how I read them.
"Gay" includes bi-sexual, how is a gay man having sex with a woman unusual in the least? And Some gay guys have sex with women and enjoy it.
People having sex with whoever the director says to, in order to be paid? Yes this does occasional happen. For one of the "performers" to then give a carefully orchestrated interview where every word was written for them by the production company? Yes that too does occasional happen.I'm also saying since this does occastionally happen...
It difficult to see the point you're trying to make.... then there's no way to know for sure how different people react sexually.
Who exactly? Personally I wasn't angered at all....this truly angered the gay community.

I hate sinking to such depths...but an example of what I was talking about above ^ caused a controversy with the adult bisexual film, Shifting Gears. In the movie a well known gay actor has straight sex with several women...you would have assumed he was straight. However, the movie was his first time with women...and he said that he enjoyed it...and looked forward to having sex with women again. For some reason this truly angered the gay community.

No one I know who is bisexual identifies as "gay", and few people I know would use "gay" to describe a bisexual. But then human sexuality is plastic and these terms are broad generalizations that pin sections of spectrums under slippery labels. The Kinsey scale isn't 0 to 1, after all."Gay" includes bi-sexual, how is a gay man having sex with a woman unusual in the least?
To get this thread back on track: does anyone think the writers would have respected the biology of sexual orientation in dealing with relationships between Deltans and Humans?
I'm bisexual and transsexual and identify myself as gay regularly. No one I know who is bisexual identifies as "gay""Gay" includes bi-sexual, how is a gay man having sex with a woman unusual in the least?
It doesn't matter if the image was on Wikipedia or not - hotlinking the image is considered theft of bandwidth. From the TrekBBS FAQ:Welll. The picture is already in the link that I have on another post here. And...the picture was from a link in Wikipedia...which is pretty much open for anybody to see it. Although it's an adult movie....the picture has no private or sex-parts shown. I wouldn't have posted a picture from a pornographic site. However this was from Wikipedia and assumed it would be okay. Besides, I've seen worse on regular tv.
Plus, you should only include an inline images from web space that you own, or with the permission from the webmaster on which the image is located to avoid what results in costly bandwidth theft to the originating site owner.
Instead, please post a link to the image.
At the least, images "like that" should be put between spoiler brackets, along with a warning that it's NSFW (not safe for workplace).Although it's an adult movie....the picture has no private or sex-parts shown. I wouldn't have posted a picture from a pornographic site.

Bisexuals are in fact gay, it isn't a exclusive term for just part of the gay community.
