Avengers 2 News, Rumors, Etc. Pictures until release...

I think it's interesting that the imagery shows the Iron Man helmet being shaped into Ultron's head. Is it artistic flair or an indication of story direction? Joe Quesada's time on Iron Man did feature a storyline where Tony's armor became so advanced that it became sentient and tried to take over his life. Iron Man 3 even hinted at this when the remote control armor began to act even while Tony was sleeping .

Spader talks Ultron

One of the great luxuries, as an actor, is that you’re able to participate in projects where the process of making the thing or the world you’re entering is so foreign to you, and that foreign world, in many cases, forces you to work in an entirely different way. The challenge becomes so different, and I was intrigued by that. I’ve been doing this a long time, and it seemed like it would be great fun to do something that I have no frame of reference for. So, the right thing came along and Kevin Feige called me up and said, “I found the thing.” And Joss Whedon gave me a call and said he really wasn’t thinking about anybody else for it and he thought it would be great fun to do. So, here we go.

Sam is such a big mouth! He's like the Michael Caine of this franchise, always giving away stuff that's supposed to be secret. Another reason to love him!

Apparently the reason Saorise Ronan turned down the Scarlet Witch role is because she's being considered for a role in the next Star Wars movie.

Not to surprised since she was the only actress other than Saoirse Ronan that seemed to be popping up repeatedly.

I'm guessing Joss and JJ had a meeting of the minds. Maybe Disney thought Ronan would suit better with Star Wars, and Olsen with Avengers.

I was thinking that with the whole Matthew Vaughn/Jane Goldman connection, it's surprising that he's Quicksilver in Avengers rather than X-Men. But there you have it.

Finally official: Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Quicksilver

“Kick-Ass” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has finally worked out his schedule and closed a deal to play Pietro Maximoff, better known as Quicksilver, in Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” an individual familiar with the sequel has told TheWrap.

Taylor-Johnson didn’t close his deal until Wednesday, as the “Age of Ultron” shooting schedule overlaps with his upcoming publicity tour for Legendary’s “Godzilla” reboot. That potential obstacle has been overcome and his availability to properly promote that creature feature and shoot the “Avengers” sequel is now ensured.

A totally random thing I would love to see in Avengers 2 is Captain America casually handing Mjolnir over to Thor, without realising what he just did.
