I got this at the Hollywood Studios:
Captain Needa?
It is Needa, Just before his apology was accepted.

Oh, I also got this at the Hollywood Studios:

So, my roomy gave me a rack, and I thought it might help take the burden off my closet, which projectile vomits if I don't open it carefully. I took all my favorite clothes for late summer/autumn out and hung them on the rack. I really like the way it looks, it makes me feel like I'm shopping in the awesomest thrift shop ever where everything is my size and taste without leaving my room! But my closet is still bursting at the seems. I think I may have a problem.

My daughter has the exact same rack for her princess dresses and other dress-up clothes.

A what party?

You've never had a LAN party before? I admit the last one I had was in the 90s.

Mom's garden is producing more pumpkins than she originally thought. Here are two that are growing very well:

There are also two tiny baby pumpkins...hopefully they'll finish growing before there is a frost.

Bonus Rory photo- he was just posing.

I love wild turkeys. There are a bunch in my neighborhood every year. I can hear them gobble gobble when I go get the paper every morning!

Wild turkeys are pretty cool. I took this one on the off ramp on my way home a few years ago.

Since summer is coming to a close, I have decided to start bulking up in an epic adventure I call...the Winter SWOLEstice.

And this is different to my wardrobe how?

;)

There are wild turkeys roaming the perimeter of my city and have been for ages. We have trees, hills and mountains all around us and the turkeys, deer and other wild critters frequently come down into the city proper to frolic and find munchies (human and otherwise) to snack upon. There's a little of everything in this area and it's not unheard of for deer and other large animals to activate the automatic sliding doors of public buildings and stroll inside.

"Wild turkey eats part of grown man in brutal pecking and gulping attack - censored footage at 11! Parents advised to not let smaller children view.

Tonight's news sponsored by the fine local folks at Barbe-Cool: your source for the best barbecue and grill supplies."

Knowing some of the bizarre, oddball things that have happened in this area and region through history, I'd never put it past anything involving a wild animal and a human who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

And yes, I know that didn't sound right. :p

Brown suede, vintage -- One of my favorites. I'm guessing late 60s but I can't be sure.

Vintage?? Hey! I was born in the late 60s, and I am not vintage! ;)

Hmmm... Weirdly, they are not upside down on my computer but they do show up upside down on my iPhone. WTF photobucket?

Yeah, I just uploaded a bunch of photos from my iPhone and several of them uploaded upside down. I don't know why.

I'm tempted to say, "Nice rack!", but y'know, façade of maturity and all that... ;)

So, I went to two concerts this week with Chrinfinity. One was in a nightclub downtown last Sunday evening (apologies for the quality, but you can't expect much in a nightclub setting, using an iPhone camera). I bring you Aaron Carter:

Then, last night, I took her to...

An image that was being projected on a screen in front of the stage before the show started:

Waiting for the show to start:

The show started with the video for their recent single, "Axis", being projected:

They came out during "Axis", but the screen prevented me from getting a great photo:

You can sort of see their initial costumes here - they had four or five changes during the show (it's not a great picture, alas):

This one's not great because of the lighting, but I wanted to include it anyway because of the costumes. Neil Tennant is wearing a mask in the shape of a bull's head (Chris Lowe was wearing a similar one), and the dancers were wearing minotaur masks that covered their entire heads:

They used a lot of laser effects:

These ones turned out really well, I think:

Chris Lowe, as is his habit, only came out from behind the keyboard when it was time to go backstage to change costumes:

At the VIP Meet-and-Greet beforehand, I'd actually asked him if he was going to surprise us and come out to dance, like he did about four years ago during a show in London. Neil laughed, and Chris smiled and said, "No, no surprises tonight." But it was a fantastic show.
