The first thing that comes to Sisko’s mind about talking to Kirk is asking him about fighting the Gorn. Really? Kirk fought a lot more interesting people than that. Finnegan was more entertaining than the Gorn. I would’ve told Kirk, “last year you marooned a bunch of people on Ceti Alpha 5, you might want to tell the shaggy headed Russian to stay away from there.”

Trials and Tribble-ationsis an extremely fun time travel episode. Sisko and crew in TOS uniforms is interesting.

Loved this episode. A nice tribute that didn't take itself to seriously but provided ample entertainment.

The first thing that comes to Sisko’s mind about talking to Kirk is asking him about fighting the Gorn. Really?

Yes, I was wondering about that myself but for different reasons. Surely Kirk's log report was rather extensive (first "physical" contact with a previously unknown species) so unless it became classified, how did Sisko even learn about the fight on Cestus III.

I would’ve told Kirk, “last year you marooned a bunch of people on Ceti Alpha 5, you might want to tell the shaggy headed Russian to stay away from there.”

That would have constituted a time-continuum violation, besides Chekov was supposedly somewhere aboard the Enterprise during "Space Seed". But I would have been tempted to tell him "Don't forget about the people you left on Ceti Alpha V".

Here is one of my favorite scenes from this episode. Apparently the previous assignment of that fella aboard the Enterprise was to move cargo containers around with his bare hands.

Awesome visual effects in that episode. The seamless integration of old and new on a TV budget, absolutely fantastic. And the physical TOS/DS9 Enterprise looks a million times better than the CGI TOS-R Enterprise.

The only problem with this episode is the soundtrack. Especially in the fight scene in the casino, it gets way too dramatic.

And while I liked the mystery about the Klingon ridges and Worf being uncomfortable about that (I absolutely hated that Enterprise had to ruin that), they should have turned Worf into a ridgeless Klingon the moment they traveled through time. And nobody should have cared.

Enterprise didn't ruin anything, they just explained it. something Worf didn't do.

Trials and Tribbleations is perfection plain and simple.

Don't think it could have been done any better and most certianly will never be topped in the future.

Best part? - Sisko getting his pad signed by Kirk.

(oh, and Jadzia in the 60's mini-skirt and high leather boots isn't bad either )

Fun tribute episode. Definitely was better than it's companion Flashback. The nostalgia factor coupled with everyone getting to play a role really is what sells this episode.

I think that was just one of the things Sisko would have liked to talk about with Kirk, he just brought up the Gorn fight as an example.

In doing so you would have doomed Earth to a cold, wet, miserable death when that Probe arrived and there was no Enterprise crew in a BOP to stop it.

This is the episode that turned me into a Star Trek fan. I heard about this episode, and, being the time travel junkie that I am, thought "The new crew is going to interact with the new crew? That is so cool!" I think it was the first full-length episode I ever saw. I began watching Deep Space Nine and Voyager from that point. Unfortunately the next episode was the awful "Let He Who is Without Sin". But I pushed through it and now Star Trek triumphs over everything else that I've watched.
