Oh wow. This is such a hard one. "The Visitor" was so well written, directed and scored, it seems the stars aligned to bring forth a truly classic episode that will always be a fan favorite. It was one of the few episodes to bring tears to my eyes. It was a story about family, love and incredible dedication and sacrifice. So that one will get my vote. But there are so many others I loved from this season. "Little Green Men" and "Our Man Bashir" were great fun. "Homefront" was an awesome one for me because the changleings were infiltrating earth! "Crossfire" was a good one because we (the audience) get to see Odo's affection for Kira as he follows her around the station with her lover. Who among us hasn't put our own hearts in similar situations? I feel your pain, Odo. And as my avatar suggests, I'm a big Kira/Odo fan! "Hard Time" was another "poor O'Brien" episode, which is always good, albeit painful. Poor guy. "Shattered Mirror" - can't go wrong with MU! And "Broken Link" - they turned Odo into a human, and he stays that way for more than just the episode! No RESET on that one! And when Odo finally turns back into a changeling in a later episode, it's absolutely beautifully done. I love DS9! And there are other good episodes here too. Anyway, this was a tough one. But I'm going to go with "The Visitor," just because I loved so many things about the episode. Man, it's a tough one! Good luck picking your favorite!

Yep, The Visitor. Amazingly, this season has only one real clunker: The Muse.

"Hard Time" was another "poor O'Brien" episode, which is always good, albeit painful. Poor guy.

The best O'Brien episode, hands down.

"The Visitor" (a terrific episode) will run away with this one, so I'll vote for "Starship Down."

The Visitor. Probably the single most moving episode/movie across the whole franchise.

I find it emotionally so hard to watch that episode. Something in Todd's performance just gets me every time. Plus it built really well on the terrific rapport and depth Brooks had established with Lofton.

But Our Man Bashir is probably my favourite popcorn episode of DS9, along with Fascination.

What did you like so much about that episode? This was one of the few Lwaxana episodes that didn't annoy me, and Odo's "marriage" be it the gesture, the vows or even wanting to take care of her was sweet. But the main plot with Jake and the brain eating alien(best looking zombie I ever saw though) was kinda meh to me. Best thing I can say for it is, nice continuity with Anslem.

I went with Way of the Warrior. I love Worf coming to the show, and I love seeing the station kicking serious butt.

I guess The Visitor is the runaway winner. Good choice.

The Visitor. In my view still the best Star Trek episode ever made. I'm 31 now, originally saw it around 14 years old, dozens of times in between, and I still sob uncontrollably on every viewing.

No other TV episode has such a profound affect on me.

I voted the Visitor. No contest. Only Star Trek episode that makes me cry (well, except for Emissary's "No, it's not linear" and The Inner Light)

I'm actually rewatching DS9 right now. Last night I watched Sword of Kahless (yawn), everything after that is still kinda hazy, but I do remember being impressed by:

- The Quickening
- Hard Time
- Little Green Men.

So many great episodes this season, but perhaps oddly I've voted for Accession. I've always loved that episode although I've never seen it get much attention. It was a close call with Little Green Men, The Visitor, Hard Time, The Quickening and Hippocratic Oath. I could go on, the quality was very high this year.
