No one should think they need to prove their sexual orientation with their answers, and no one is making a declaration of their attraction to an actress/actor by making a selection. Anyone should feel free to pick among the selections based upon their appreciation of knowledge and care with which the question was written. Should I feel compelled to pick Janeway from among the captains because I am a heterosexual man? No. Besides, the only great "lover" was Kirk. Which Dax would you rather have as your best friend: Lela, Tobin, Emony, Audrid, Torias, Joran, Curzon, Jadzia, Ezri?
Emony, she's a gymnast. I was kidding about that last question, as a male, I've answered one or two feminine questions in this thread. Would you rather be outside the ship repairing the hall or inside in waste management?
Inside. At least I wouldn't need to worry about accidentally floating off somewhere in space. Would you rather be a sentient android or a sentient hologram?
Android. I would be "fully functional". (TNG Naked Now). Would you rather be a Vulcan forced into Romulan culture, or a Romulan forced into Vulcan culture??
edit-- to add to that..A sentient android--not a hologram....for one, they're still limited to moving around a bulky holadeck-- an android can go where he or she pleases. Plus there's something kind of creepy about the idea of being a hologram--a light particle program with software ....just seems weird to imagine being one A Vulcan forced into Romulan culture... Vulcans don't 'feel' emotions, so nothing's going to bother them much anyway. A Romulan would go nuts with all the snobby, non emotional vibes that Vulcans would give off. You are a female involved in a serious negotiation or argument with some male Klingons. You need to win. You need to be outspoken. You need to be aggressive. You even need to be a bitch if necessary. Would you rather be; Captain Janeway, Dr. Pulaski, Kai Winn, Admiral Nechayev, Admiral Sati, Kira Nerys, or Lwaxana Troi?
Janeway and Kira could hold their own against a Klingon (and take a punch) IMO. I'll go with Kira, she'll have a trick or two up her sleave. Would you rather prank Odo, Kira, Worf, or B'elanna?
Odo. Beyond his general grumpiness, he's the least likely of the four to respond with violence. Would you rather play golf with the Doctor, Captain Proton with Paris, calisthenics(fighting) with Worf or go with Picard to play a Dixon Hill mystery?
Picard & Dixon Hill. I've always been good at that kind of stuff. Would you rather thrust into the Dekta Quadrant, Klingon territory, (in the 23rd century), Romulan territory, Cardassisian territory, or Dominion territory, (prior to the war)??
Klingon. Would you rather mind meld with Tuvok, Spock, Vorik, or T'Pol in order to dig out some kind of horrible, repressed memory?
Spock. He's probably the most interesting and least likely to cause me harm if he loses control. Would you rather have Thanksgiving dinner with (and cook for) the TOS crew, the TNG crew or the ENT crew?
ENT crew (can't believe I just typed that). The seemed the most likely to enjoy the diversion. Would you rather be on the run from a gorn, a horta, or a salt vampire?
A Gorn. On land they seem slow. Would you rather be stranded on an alien planet with your crashed shuttle, be the sole survivor after an attack on your deep space station, or stranded in a far away quadrant in your advanced attack fighter?
The first one, it's lonely out in space. Would you rather kiss Captain Kirk or his transporter duplicate?
The real one (if I had to kiss a guy that is ). Would you rather live inside the Nexus or on the Shore Leave planet?
Nexus, have whatever my heart desired. Would you rather be the helmsman/navigator sitting next to: Ilia, Saavik or Valeris?
Saavik, the least neurotic of the bunch. Would you rather have Sisko solemnize your marriage with the standard "all shipmasters" speech or give you the Emissary special?
Actually I would fangasm at the concept of Avery Brooks solemnizing my marriage... the trick being to find a girl who would go for it. Would you rather play dabo with Weyoun or drink with Morn?
Dabo with Weyoun. His apparent lack of esthetics might give him a disadvantage as he tries to rationalize the designs on the board and wheel. Would you rather be hauling beautiful/hunky women/men around the galaxy selling "wives/husbands" to settlers/miners, or stuck on a planet with beautiful/hunky androids who won't let you leave?
Beautiful women as wives for settlers if I had to choose. I wouldn't enjoy selling people though and would quit... well, after I'm set. Would you rather fly in the cargo ship or the escort defending it?
