Chakotay was in Starfleet for twenty years before the series?

Hux? Why do you want to be buggered by Vulcans?

We learn in DS9 that men and women have an equal responsibility to take a monthly contraceptive shot. If one of them forgets, it's still good, but if they both forget, it's like kicking penalties while the goalie is on smoko.

Oddly, ENT showed us holograms, but never androids. We know androids were relatively common in the 23rd century. Why weren't they being used as robonannies?

Vulcan fisting is unlike human fisting.

Ent showed us aliens who had holograms.

Which is not the same as "humans" having holograms.

In Vulcan fisting, they make use of the never before heard of Vulcan inner anus.

That sounds.. illogical. Unless as Melakon describes biological similarities should not be assumed.

So, Janeway got through the academy by shagging her teacher? Or was it nasty filthy old man Owen Paris demanding some after-class sugar lest he flunk her?

    I feel sick:barf2:

It would explain why Janeway was so quick to abandon the salamander children. ;)

Cos a Klingon would rip me to shreds

    Two holed anus?

Maybe that's where the Vulcan salute has its origins

I thought it was cool in the Next Emanation when Chuckles takes a step back from the fuel source that turned out to be corpses in a mausoleum... "Lets respect the dead and only use passive scans and no one is forcing one of these cadavers into Voyagers gas tank".

Earlier today however, I remembered the isms/myth about how Native American's are not big on waste and used the complete Buffalo... Which if you think about it puts the cultural convictions of Chakotay at odds with his modern education as an Anthropologist.

Maybe he should have ground up those mummies?

I think "waste" stops at people for Native Americans. Not a huge tradition of cannibalism.

Are you forgetting that Native American refers still to those American natives living historically south of Mexico?

But google assures me that some central native Americans socially dabbled in cannibalism too.

I saw something history channely once where they were talking about about how after the cannibalism, which in this case was a version of disposal/interment rather than murder, where the inedible parts were then used to make tools and clothing.

Imagine you got in a punch up with someone and knocked one their teeth out and then you wore it around your neck.

^ Like that one Klingon on DS9 who wore Jem'Hadar bones (or was it tubes of 'white'?) around his neck.
