I thought as much the first time I saw him.The identity of The Outsider might have been revealed in the Director's Cut of Trinity War #1 and it's most interesting...

A back to basics approach?I really really like to try to give creators the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know if I can get over this one.
Seriously, WTF were they thinking here?
My only exposure to the character so far has been in Superman: TAS and Young Justice, but even that is enough for me to know that this is all wrong.

Marguerite Bennett' said:Dear Internet (which has called me some very unendearing names today), I was not in charge of the Lobo redesign. Ben Oliver was not in charge of the Lobo redesign.
I wrote my script, and after it was completed, I was shown what the new character would look like.
For the record, the images you’ve seen—Ken Rocafort’s design and Aaron Kuder’s cover—are not what Lobo actually looks like in the book. I respectfully disagree with the decision to release that image.
When you go to get your comics on Wednesday, Sept 11, before you buy it (if you buy it), pick up Lobo and read the first four pages.
You can hate me by Page Two.
But if I do not have your attention by Page Four, you don’t have to read something of mine ever again
Lobo tries to hide his beginnings a modern dancer.I'd never seen that version before. I've read a fair amount about him on the web, and I've only ever seen the big biker version of the character.
When this kind of stuff happens I always feel sorry for the people like her, who were either not involved or barely involved, but still end up taking the majority of the abuse.I really really like to try to give creators the benefit of the doubt, but I don't know if I can get over this one.

Seriously if you read the response by the writer, she pretty much says it's not in the book:

I'll only watch if Christina Hendricks plays Peg.They're remaking making Married with Children.
Jude Law has been cast as Al Bundy.
I don't understand the nerdrage over the team being based in Canada.

No nerdrage from me. It's just really fuckin weird.
Why? The League has been "of America", "Europe", "International", "America" and "Antarctica" in the past. What make's Canada so weird?. Lemire hinted it was part of a larger storyline.I don't understand the nerdrage over the team being based in Canada.

@theenglish..."Justice League of America" is being renamed "Justice League Canada". They're not adding a new book, and this has some kind of repercussions from Forever Evil so maybe the villains force this team out of America for some reason.
