Lucy Liu cast as Watson in CBS' Sherlock Holmes show

I like that they've kept Holmes eccentric, but it still feels quite different. As long as we weren't hoping for the old Holmes it's looking great. Lucy is a great addition, balancing out the oddness of Holmes and some intriguing depth. Not sure I love it yet, but it's interesting.

^Me, too. Elementary is one of the better retcons the wife and I have seen. We PVR'd the whole season and just finished going through all the episodes over the course of a few nights. Very enjoyable viewing and now looking forward to the second season.

Agreed. Been catching up on the reruns on the dvr to kind of experience a "real-time" thing but it's hard not to just dive in and marathon the thing!
