I'm soooo jealous King Daniel! I hope you have a great time!

Will we all be moving over to the "movie grading thread" once all of us see it, or we do a little discussion here as well?

Now it's down to 23 hours until I see it. I know there are midnight screenings tonight, but not where I am.

You may want to update the US countdown, as they've pushed the release date to the 16th. I'll be able to see it as a midnight showing at 12:03am on the 16th!

^Yeah, I saw that late last night. They're doing it especially to ruin the end of my countdown!

US/Canada general release (May 17): -8
US IMAX/3D (May 15): -7
UK, Ireland and Australia (May 9): -1

Thanks!:)
I think once we see it we can talk about it here, but be sure to use spoiler tags on spoilery stuff for those who haven't yet.

^ I know that first screening in Australia is just over 4 hours away from now.

I'm trying to some study, as I wait tonight. Maybe few more hours and then sleep. Tomorrow is about Trek.

^I've been completely Trek mad for the past few days. I won't know what to do once I've seen it. Except maybe see it again!

And now, to celebrate the final day... here's an exclusive extended trailer clip!*

^ I've watched the movie again. Now it's sleep. Hopefully I'll get a good sleep tonight. Thinking what to wear to the cinemas tomorrow. Plus almost finished season 1 of the original. And going in costume on Saturday.

Argh, WHY ARE THEY MAKING ME WAIT??

Don't get me wrong. Being Canadian is great. Just ask Ensign Lavelle. But still... THE WAIT, IT IS KILLING ME. RAR.

I'm watching it in 12 hours. Twelve long hours - it feels like I'm a kid on Christmas Eve. Have a great time, teacake and ElimParra! I hope it's as good as we all want it to be.:)

I saw it and I loved it. The story was very different from what I was expecting and had pieced together in my head after seeing all the trailers. If you've seen them and think you've virtually seen the whole movie, you haven't.

I think if you liked the last one you'll likely enjoy this too, it's essentially more of the same. There was one moment where I cringed and another where I groaned, but otherwise I was in Trekkie heaven for two hours. It was one hell of a ride:techman:
