That part is unclear. We know Lucifer is one of the five "things" that can't be killed by the Colt. It was never explained if he was referring to himself as a distinct individual, archangels, or angels in general.

Great stuff. If only Ben Edlund could write every episode...

Oh, did anyone else notice that this ep was directed by Robert Duncan McNeill? I know he's directed at least one other ep ("Skin" from Season One), but I can't remember if he's done any others. Solid work from him, though. It's always neat to see him or other Trek actors-turned-directors (like Jonathan Frakes and Roxann Dawson) pop up. :techman:

Given his preference for fetish prostitutes named Magda, he's Jesus at the very least.

I know, but the question is, was something happening before Metatron arrived? It was very strange that Kevin suddenly had no fear of Crowley-- and the light came from Kevin's eyes.

Meg was my first thought, in terms of wishful thinking. Crowley is the obvious choice, but I doubt if the showrunners would give up their Doctor Doom.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
    Again "what is a demon"?

    Crowley used to be Human.

He was a damned soul who worked his way up the ranks.

Supposedly Lucifer made Demoninity so that he wouldn't be so alone in Hell.

Is that code for upgrading a human being or was "it" made from scratch?

What happened to the other Angels who sided with Lucifer?

I think Kevin may have learned more from the tablet than he let on, maybe some type of internal warding spell or something. I think the glowing eyes were a result of that. Its also possible that Metatron is a very powerful angel since he has not had his mind messed with as it appears so many of the others have.

It was clearly Metatron. The special effects used were 100% angelic, and Metratron even said, straight up, that it was him. Why is there any confusion at all about that?

The confusion is from Kevins lack of fear at that point.

Abbadon is the obvious choice. It's safe (Devil's Trap Bullet) convient (they know exactly where it is) and portable (just a head with a demon in it).

Having the demon is only part of the battle. We still don't know what they mean by 'curing' a demon.

    That was my thought exactly.

    Good idea.
