Did anyone else watch tonight's Big Bang Theory? There was a "special preview" during the first few minutes. Quite a bit of the same footage we've seen with a few new shots thrown in. For example, Spoiler: new footage one of Spock accusing Harrison of "betraying us" I haven't found the clip online yet but it's bound to pop up somewhere.
It's up on YouTube Spoiler: The Run http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bRsUwdimIoU
Magic of editing again. Spock says his line on the bridge during a red alert. Harrison says his in the brig. They're related, obviously, but two different scenes (and probably each addressing two different people). Spoiler: Order of events Again, haven't seen the film, but my guess is that Harrison tells Kirk they were sent to be "sacrificed," and then gives the coordinates for where they'll encounter the Vengeance. The scene with Spock on the bridge probably follows the shot where he looks shocked and approaches the viewscreen. I'll be this is when they see Marcus in command of the Vengeance (possibly ordering the destruction of the Enterprise).
I saw it, and it got me pretty jazzed for the film. I also must admit it surprised me as I was unaware there was going to be any sort of "sneak peak" - Like everyone else I tuned in to see the button-down mind of Bob Newhart interact with Sheldon, Leonard and Penny (Kelly Cuaco (sp?) who plays Shatner's daughter in the Priceline ads). Everything came together to make this an awesome episode.
He was referring to fanboys writing unfavourable reviews. Just noticed that Australia is getting a TV preview before midnight, a 15-min special called "Countdown to Darkness" promoting "Star Trek Into Darkness". It follows an Aussie TV screening of the 2009 movie tonight! Network Ten.
