Green Arrow (CW)

I never thought of that. I had been thinking it was going to be an either or thing with Thea and Roy, but I guess there is no reason why they couldn't both end up working with him.

This show has been quite successful at playing with my expectations.

I was looking at the cable summary for next week...and they are adding "Dr. Brion Markov" (a.k.a. a version of Geo Force?) next week....seems like they are doing A LOT of DC Universe tie-ins...but so far, nothing TOO sci-fi fantasy -- yet...

Lol, no joke, they've barely touched on his "trick arrows" at all. We have yet to see him use anything besides the basic arrows.

Walter Bishop is missing??? Sorry wrong show. And no I dont care that Walter hasnt been mentioned in several months.

Walter was briefly mentioned recently. I understand your point though. Finding him is the reason Felicity started and continues to work with Oliver. But that is easy to forget. The one should have the biggest affect on is his wife, Moria, but she barely mentions or shows it. Of course her feelings and motivations for everything are a complete mystery.

Tonight's episode was amazing. I really love where this show is going and I hope it can have a good solid run. I just wish that this Oliver was more of the wiseass that DCAU Ollie was. Maybe once he stops the Undertaking and starts being a full superhero and not just a vigilante he will evolve a bit more. I'd also like if eventually he gets a domino mask instead of just the paint.

"I like having you inside me."

Even the most conversationally awkward person in the universe would never say that.

That and walking in on Laurel...

Then breaking in on the family...

She's subtly introduced herself as the new girlfriend to the exgirlfriend and the entire family, and forced Oliver to think about having sex with her. That's some dark psy ops shit there.

If one or most of those bits happened on purpose, Felicity is playing the long game to marry a billionaire.

I find Felicity far more attractive with the glasses on then when she gets all dressed up.
Very solid episode here, great flashbacks to fill things in about how they plan to destroy the glades.
My only problem was the creation of a new company name that was going to create the device to destroy the Glades. DC didnt have any large evil corporation names they could use?

I still have noe idea why they called it Starling City

Oh sure mention Walter and there he is.

 I honestly hadn't read any previews or anything.

That was an amazing episode. I really liked the flashbacks and seen young Laurel and Ollie. The casino scene was cool, especially when Oliver pushed the guy through the door, and when the other guy broke a pool cue on Oliver and he just stood there

Felicity had loads of lines that made me laugh. I liked the brief scene between Laurel and Tommy, and the romantic in me got a bit too excited at the last scene between Oliver and Laurel.

I'm glad that Digg is being brought back into the fold.

Best bit of the episode? Oliver hang gliding into the enemy base lol.

I chuckled a bit too. Mention him, and there he is. Of course, he was bound to show up sooner or later.

I thought they were a bit careless at the casino. He took off his hook and now people know that he has a blonde accomplice.

I wonder what he did with that parachute.

He did show his face to quite a few people who he let live this week.
Pretty sure Tommy is going to sacrifice himself to save Laural from one of his fathers arrows in the last episode setting up the Oliver reveal to her at that point. Of course we know Tommy wont really be dead but will return as the new and improved Merlyn.

The makeup artist did a great job of making Ollie look "baby-faced" in the non-island flashbacks. He actually looked kinda "rich kid" pudgy.
