I've read that the AP says the Saudi in question has been cleared as a suspect, but his apartment was searched.

My information was incomplete but a search warrant was issued and his apartment searched as mentioned above. Also, the original article I posted has been edited to say the man was recently ruled out.

Also, no warrant was issued. He voluntarily allowed his room to be searched.

^^^ At least you don't have Pat Collins. He's been on the air on NBC Channel 4 in DC for years and HE always seems like he's on the verge of an emotional breakdown. Every story he covers is like the end of the fucking world, and he delivers his "reports" with overly dramatic histrionics, complete with pregnant pauses for added effect. He truly is a douche to watch and I cringe every time they switch over to him.
Wolf Blitzer drives me crazy, too. He's like a carnival barker. These guys need to brush up on their Walter Cronkite.

A shootout at MIT with one officer killed, followed by a major shootout in Watertown Massachusetts with the perps carjacking a police SUV and one of the gunmen tossing grenades. The police told everyone to stay off their cellphones for fear of detonating unexploded bombs. At least one of them is in custody.
