Orphan Black kept my Attention.

One more week, one more version. And I thought soccer mom was a psycho.

The question now is, why is this one killing the others? Tortured to the point of murderous rage?

I have no clue...but won't it be fun to find out? :) I love this show!

Btw, does anyone else love how the theme song is a kind of calm psychedelic tune? It is in stark contrast to the intense nature of the show. I love that contrast.

Last week I was amazed at how much they've been revealing, but this week it seems like the show is moving at fast forward. I still love the pacing, but I wonder if things are moving too fast. I mean we have the crime scene, meet the killer, the killer turns out to be one of the clones, and a pretty creepy one at that, and now Sarah realizes she can't get out of this.

One of the things I'm loving about this show is Maslany's subtle acting and just the subtlities in general. That scene at the beginning between Cosima, Alison, and Sarah was probably the best scene in the episode, and Maslany has given each clone a unique style. You've got the geeky one, the vigilant one (Sarah), and the protector (Alison). Each one is different but fun all the same. As for the killer, like I said, she was freaking creepy. Looking forward to next week to find out more about her.

This was also the episode where I really got to like Felix. In the previous episodes, he was just "There", but he shined here, especially when he was taking care of the kids. He's providing comic relief, which is a good balance to the seriousness of the rest of the show.

Right now, this is probably my favorite Drama (With Parks and Rec being my favorite comedy).

Fist I think that on her back was from whipping.

Autoflaggerlation, or part of some programming kick where she was abused into complete obedience probably by another clone.

Then I'm wondering if that's an advanced case of clone degeneration.

Lesions from her body falling apart?

Why isn't blondie dead?

Advanced healing abilities?

Sarah had a baby.

The Doctors would have noticed

Because Evil Psycho Russian Blonde clone is so evil, she can't be killed. She the Michael Myers of the clone batch.

I enjoyed the first two episodes, but the last one just bored me to tears for reasons I can't explain. I had to stop watching about 20 minutes in. Hope I can find the time/energy to give it another shot, though.

Wow, the blonde is more messed up than I thought. She's abusing herself now, assuming someone else gave her some of those scars.

Maybe it was inevitable that there would be a religious element to this show, but I really hope they keep it to a minimum. Don't get me wrong, tonight's episode was great, again, but I've already seen a show that had strong religious ties and didn't think they handled that as well as they could have (Battlestar Galactica) and was hoping this show would kind of remain secular. I guess if they handle the religious aspect well, it could work, but the two shows I've seen that have this aspect (The other one being DS9) leaves a lot to be desired.

I am glad though that Sarah quit the force. It's time to move on from impersonating Beth and get going with the bigger picture. Next week looks really good too, even if it is a little predictable that Allison impersonating Sarah would lead to complications.

With tonight's episodes this show has become one of my favorite shows on television right now. It certainly makes all the crap I watch on the Networks look like...well crap.

Tatiana Maslany is certainly doing a wonderful job playing so many different, distinct characters. Not once do I have a problem believing that they are all clones with different attributes.

Boy was I wrong about this show though. About two weeks ago when Sarah (as Beth) is reinstated as a cop, I thought it'd turn into a cop show that occasionally advances the overall plot. With Sarah handing in her badge tonight, well now I know that won't be the case.

I think that's the thing I love about this show most of all, these characters are great so far. Maslany is doing a great job as all these characters and these are all unique, and interesting people. I'm also glad they kept the geek around even though she was going back to Minnesota. So far, she's my favorite of the clones.

I've just started the new episode and I was gobsmacked, blown away when I saw the production code was s01e04... FOUR EPISODES!

HOLY SHIT!

I could have sworn that we were up to episode 9.

Edit. (seen it)

Watching

I spent 8 second thinking what a sap Kristen kreuk was for allowing her self to be trapped in that Beauty and Beast crap when if you squint, these two actresses could be auditioning for the same roles and it's practically the same part from a casting point of view.

I had goose bumps when Helena was pretending to be Sarah pretending to be Beth... And what's up with Kiera?

Clondar?

Helena's back? Clone degeneration liesions or self mutilation scars?

Was that the Masters Ring at the end?

Manti-frakking-cor?

I almost thought they were going to kill off Sarah when she was prowling towards her meet up in chens apartment.

It would have been a bold move.

Never mind

They might as well have. It's not like that would have put Tatiana out of a job...

The Nerdists had intrviews with the cast and crew and the interviewer interviewing the interview kept complaining about the weather in Toronto.
The townhouse in the opening episode is about a block from my house in Toronto. The police station where she throws up is old building under the Gardiner Expressway where I think used to be offices for impounding cars. The funeral scene at the end was the Leslie Spit or thereabouts.

I didn't love the pilot but I have a few episodes recorded and I may give it another chance. I generally need to see at least a few redeaming qualities in the main characters in order to get into a series. These characters remind me of people whom I am happy have been out of my life for a long time.
