TV commercials!

F. King Daniel

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
The very first have aired. It's mostly what we've seen before, except for micro glimpses of Pike giving Kirk the speech heard in an earlier trailer and a shot of Harrison on that other starship bridge, talking about (what else?) vengeance.

An american commercial that shouldn't be online yet? The warping in the video is to fool Youtube's automatic content detection/removal thingies.

German commercials! I love how the guy says "Star Trek Into Darkness!" at the end:lol: And Cumberbatch's mouth is so weirdly contorted in the third one, when he says what I think is "Shall we begin?"

According to Trekmovie.com, "Unsere welt wird untergehen" translates as "Our world will be destroyed"

I am in work having my lunch and just heard an advert on the radio!! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

I suppose the climax of the film is a battle between the Enterprise and Khanisson's ship somewhere near Earth. Enterprise is badly damaged and nearly falls from orbit until Kirk and Scotty stabilize it, and This-Ain't-The-Reliant crashes into Alcatraz.

I am trying very hard to avoid it all. I turn stuff off the minute I start hearing something. Won't click on the 'play buttons' above either. I am trying my best to walk into the theatre as uninformed as possible.

Lol! I'm that way about every movie I want to see

Jesus...dubbing Cumberbatch's voice must be the biggest fail of all time.
I 100% agree!

Do we know for sure that voice actor doesn't sound terrifying to its intended audience?

I became curious, wondered if choosing foreign Voice Actors for dubbing was the Directors responsibility and 2, was subtitling an option? Found this. Relevant here: Apparently it is out of the directors hands, seems the receiving nations just do what they please with the material.

And 2, The Germans prefer dubbing over subtitling.
