I enjoy Dolly because I love people who embrace being caricatures of themselves. That's the secret to all my Shatner love too

My dad is STILL sending me fwds about how Fonda caused a man to die during the Vietnam war. No amount of return fwds with the man in question saying otherwise gets through.

    My fav Dolly Q&A...

Q: Miz Parton, does it bother you when people make dumb blonde jokes?

DP: No, cuz I'm not dumb and I'm not blonde.

You didn't have to teach him how to use the internet.

    It's on your head.

Actually he taught himself, he lives on the other side of the world from me. But I have very fond memories of him yelling into the phone (he has to yell because of the great distance), "THE INTERNET IS COMPLETELY ILLOGICAL! IT SHOULD WORK LIKE A BOOK! WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE IT WORK LIKE A BOOK?"

I was disappointed with the hitch-hikers Guide to he Galaxy TV show when the props department made the Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy look like an old audio cassette recorder and not like a book which is how I had always imagined the the Hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy from reading the hitch-hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

    I agree with your father.

    Spooky.

Well then I have some very important information about Jane Fonda you need to know before you watch any more old movies.

I used to work with a guy who had a Jane Fonda Bumper Sticker: "Vietnam Vets aren't Fonda Jane"

My horribly abrasiveness self gratifying fanfiction story has taken an unusual turn with the addition of new character called Commodore Kathryn Johnson. have you never considered what would have happened if Kathryn had stayed in the Alpha quadrant and married Mark? taking his name is the very deah of her identity as surely as swallowing on a phaser.

The TNG Novel where Picard meets a Terran Empire version of his Enteprise had Regular Picard is pretending he was the enemy captain in the enemy camp rumaging through his enemy's enemy readyroom and the enemy book shelf...

Just for a break from the super wierd Picard reads a couple verses out of Bill Shakspeare's the Merchant of Venice, and Antonio is saying "You can take a pound of my flesh, but you can't tak a drop of my blood!" whereafter the mirror judge from this mirror play on the matter says "Bullshit! Open him up and cut out as much as you want."

The moral cision between mirror and regular is on a genetic level and it has possibly been in effect sine the beginning of 2001 when that monkey bashed his neighoiur with some poor bastards sun bleached femur.

Janeway, Chakotay, Tom Paris, Harry Kim, Carey, Cavit, the unnamed doctor, unnamed Vulcan nurse, Lon Suder, Vorik, Jonas and an unassimilated Annika Hansen would become slaves or resistance fighters like Tuvok. . . B'Elanna may very well be an Intendant or overseer for the Alliance with Seska. . . And the Caretaker, USS Voyager, Neelix and Kes would not factor

Not unless (plotwise) mirror Janeway and company somehow stumble into the prime universe and obtain plans for a Voyager of their own much like O'Brien did regarding USS Defiant. . . And the Mirror Caretaker pulls mirror Voyager into the Delta Quadrant. . . Possibly circa 2372 not 2371. . . All except mirror Tuvok. I realise a mirror Voyager features in one of William Shatner's novels. . . I'm trying to think of how a real mirror Voyager episode might pan out

You're welcome to open a new thread to start a conversation on the subject but no thread resurrecting. It's in the commandments.

But in the mirror universe don't they like zombie threads?

A high ranking Klingon and Human scum wouldn't do it in the Mirror Universe that we are familiar with, because they love each other, and they wouldn't keep the baby if they did.

Of course a Human Elite like Jennifer Sisko, and a middle class Klingon lout is a more likely match socially couple, that might result in B'Elanna not being thrown out with the bathwater.
