How so? Once they were over with the wrong slapping in Slap Bet Lily decreed that Marshal has five free slaps to be doled out from here to eternity.

The only thing that could cancel them was the fact that they would find out out that Robin did indeed to porn movies.

I don't remember Lily mentioning any kind of restrictions or conditions of the slaps.

Um, Marshall is kind of a huge guy, while Barney really isn't, I don't think he'd be worried about getting slapped back.

Yeah, that site has been around since before Slapsgiving. They reset it after every slap.

It was even included in the episode; Marshall directed Barney to the website.

My guess is that either Abby Elliott or Ashley Benson (who also will have a few episodes this year), one of them is going to end up being Barney's as yet unseen half-sister. And Ted will try to date them.

Well, last night's episode pretty much blew one of the leading internet theories about the mother's identity out of the water.

Yeah, I for one, am a little disappointed that the Mother isn't going to end up being Barney's sister. That would have been a cute ending to the series. But it just wasn't in the cards, considering all the evidence we know about the Mother at this point.

At the beginning of the episode, when Barney mentioned seeing his sister recently, I thought they would show her in flashback, and then when they didn't I figured that was another little clue that she could possibly be the mother. But then a few minutes later...

It was funny that there was a mock wedding between the two though. It seems the writers were acknowledging the theory, and sending it out with a bang.

Watched this week's episode last night. Was it just me or is this the first episode where Josh Radnor was narrating instead of Bob Sagat?

I seem to recall there have been a handful that Sagat didn't narrate, and Radnor isn't really narrating the episode, just those specific scenes.

Robin Sparkles is back!!! I really enjoyed last night's episode, I love these ones where they make fun of Canada, and all the guest shots of the famous Canadians; the Dave Coulier bit was great. The Ted story was lame (get to the mother already), but the rest was classic. Geddy Lee on HIMYM!

He did mention that right before you meet the right person, you have to make a big mistake. Sounds like Abby Elliot is Ted's mistake, and that as soon as he's done with her we're going to meet the mother. But either way, we're supposed to be meeting the mother this year, anyway... that wedding is guaranteed to happen in 2013.
