Feline Follies

/.../the Lady Fay:

"Oh shit, the paparazzi are still there"

Beautiful cat, and I love that photo of her.

Thanks! She's got quite some pics like that.. either the expression or the pose. She's a lady/diva, like I said.

Can't properly find another one (I swear I all uploaded them on PB once) but here you can see the diff between her and Jamie, though Fay's a bit bigger than on this pic now..

Uhm, why PB makes this pic have a white edge at the bottom I have no idea, on the PB page there's none. Background is one of our doggies, Donar. :) He's a 50 kg big fluffy scaredy cat. Err.. dog. ;)

^Makes me glad that people like B.J. exist :)
*blush* :D

BTW, it's very difficult to put a diaper on a cat, even more difficult to keep it there! Ended up having to use an old infant shirt (onesies were too big) and stapled the shirt and diaper together! Banshee was not amused. And for a little while, protested by pretending her legs no longer worked. Set her down, and *thud*, fell over sideways!

Hahahaha... is like when we put the pants on our little doggy.. a Yorkshire, when she's in heat? We didn't have her spayed since that went horribly wrong with our previous dog, she died on our way back to the vet when she didnt stop bleeding.

Anyway, when she;'s wearing her pants (once everey 9 months or so) she's suddenly unable to walk and just flops down anywhere.. hehe.

We use a newborn infant onesie with a minipad (the winged variety) for cats that require a dressing over a backside wound.

Thank goodness you found her/him and provided the care needed for the injuries.

Cute little bob-tail kitty.

The back legs are working and the bladder is working, so I'm sure the pooper will start working too. :)

Meanwhile, an eHarmony video is making the rounds. Want a date with a future cat lady?

They must be giving away MBA's to absolutely anyone. Cute girl though, if you're gonna have a cat lady, might as well be a cute one.

Banshee seems to be adjusting well now. The drainage tubes are out, and the stitches come out tomorrow. While the two older tuxedo cats (female litter mates) don't seem to do much more than tolerate her, she and Phantom (the ~6 month old male cat we adopted just after Halloween) seem to have bonded nicely! They follow each other around all day, and are usually found play-fighting. Phantom even stays by her cage when she has to be in there while we're away.

I just have to say it again. I think it's awesome that you are doing this for the little kitty B.J..

Banshee looks soooo happy! I'm so glad you are able to help her, you and your family are amazing B.J.! Diaper Kitty Rules!

I had my hair stylist laughing yesterday...

I reminded her that last time, I'd asked her not to use any product on my hair, but she must've used something out of habit w/o my noticing. And the reason I knew she had was that when I went to bed that night, Matisse sat on the pillow next to my head and groomed me. Lick, lick, lick, lick...

The only time she does that is when my hair is unusually dirty or I've used styling lotion.
