Perhaps this comes with extra figures. The original version just had Han and Chewie. Does this one also have Luke and the droids?

Yeah its weird that its $100 more than the original release. Fact is I like the original box more. I bet someone at Hasbro noticed how much these things are selling for on ebay and adjusted the price accordingly.

No, just the same Han and Chewbacca that the 2008 Legacy Collection Falcon came with. All the other figures on the packaging are sold separately. This Falcon is basically the exact same ship as the 2008 release, just in a brand new retro box and a store exclusive instead of something you can buy at any major retailer.

And here's two of the very first images of what the 2013 Clone Wars and Movie Heroes packaging will look like. These will start hitting retail about three months from now if 2012's first new product is any indication.

This is the European cardback but the U.S. version will be very similar.

Wow. The Maul brothers figures actually look really impressive.

I have to admit I like the 2013 Yoda-themed packaging more than I did this past year's Darth Maul design for Movie Heroes/Discover the Force/Clone Wars figures and vehicles. This is much more colorful and eye-catching than the 2012 packaging's been.

Yeah I have to agree with you about the packaging. It looks more clearer and brighter than the Darth Maul "Episode One" packaging did. Nothing out of that line interested me...but this line...hmmm.

I collect the star trek playmates lines, but not too seriously at the moment, they're all opened and played with. :D

These heroes of modern science, modeled off of old Star Trek action figures, are AWESOME. Sadly, these are digitally painted, so we can only hold them on our computer screens, and not in our hands.

I know there are a ton of other scientists who could be added to the list (especially more women), but I’m not the one who had to spend hours rendering these, so I’ll just bask in the science-y glory as it stands. Who would you add?

I believe that was the one. These days, my local Target doesn't keep anything even remotely that long on the shelf before marking it down, especially if it's a fairly large item.

Here's a new 501st Legion Clone Trooper for next year's Clone Wars figure line. It looks like a repaint of the white Phase II Clone we saw this past year pegwarming the aisles but at least it's a really nice repaint and a new twist on the 501st Clones we haven't seen in 3.75" plastic before.

Here's the two latest from DC Club Infinite Earths. Since the sub started a month late, this month they're doubling up. Here's John Constantine and Uncle Sam with Doll Man.

Both are really cool, even if I've never read Freedom Fighters or Hellblazer. Constantine really needed an accessory, though. At least something small like a cigarette, since he's a chain smoker.

Those look great. Are they 6" or 12" scale figures? Judging by the tiny little Doll Man accessory at Uncle Sam's feet I'm assuming these guys are at least five or six inches tall.

Yeah, DC Universe Classics is a 6" scale line.

These are the online exclusives you can't buy in stores, aren't they? That's cool. After getting my two cases of the final wave of the Vintage Collection online I'm coming to appreciate not having to slug through retail stores looking for brand new figures even if you have to wait a little while to get them.

My local B&M has got a new stock of older Vintage Collection Star Wars figures. Some good army builders in there with the Endor Rebel (both variants), TIE pilots and Stormtroopers.

Yeah, they're the online exclusives. I do appreciate being guaranteed the figures that I want, though there will always be something about the thrill of the hunt. Oh well, the DC Unlimited retail lines should be hitting soon enough and it will be back to hunting.

Nice. Sounds like Wave 8 (Revenge of the Jedi) if you're seeing the white and black Endor Rebels. That was a great wave because it also had a variant of the Stormtrooper with a slightly different helmet and paint apps than the previous releases of the VC41 Vintage Stormtrooper a little earlier in 2011.
