Warehouse 13 Season 4 (discussion, spoilers)

I don't think H.G. was actually Brother Adrian because she knew too much about what happened with Artie. The thimble copies the likeness of a subject, not their knowledge.

It occurred to me too that it might not really be HG, but I think it was.

At first with the new woman I was wondering.. why are regents going for someone who is so young (leaving aside the eye candy side). I think though they want them young and very impressionable so they can train them into the life more effectively. Before they get too much of their own life they might be attached to.

If we end up with the new one on every week and no H.G. I will be upset. I want H.G. back full time!!

I sympathize, but given that Jaime Murray is now a regular on Defiance, that's probably not in the cards.

Which also implies that the spinoff idea fell through, which is a shame. That sounded seriously cool.

Whoa. I am always so behind, this is why I need you people. I like the actress but it's a real shame to lose the character herself from Warehouse 13. The Myka/HG vibe added a whole lot to the show.

Agreed, which is why I'm glad to see that apparently she's still available for the occasional guest-spot.

(Speaking of Jaime Murray, have you seen the second season of DEXTER? She's really good in that, too.)

She's good in everything I've seen her in.

I kind of surprised her career hasn't taken off (more). She's extremely talented and quite lovely.

I can't watch Dexter. I'm delicate.

Well, I'd tell you that, really, it's not all that gruesome or disturbing . . . but that would be lying.

But Jaime Murray did get to deliver at least one truly classic line: "Pardon my tits."

That might make it worth watching an episode of Dexter. :rommie:

"he does seem to have figured out an awful lot" was your conclusion for why she might not be HG Wells. I'm not sure how that's not you saying exactly that.

Because it's evidence, a possible clue. HG could have figured it out, which is why Artie would believe that it's her even if it wasn't. There's really no need to get all bent out of shape about it.

Unfortunately, I don't think the HG show ever got beyond the speculation stage, which is a shame. I'd love to see a full-on Steampunk show. But she was always only an occasional guest, anyway, and I think the new character is worth having around. As for the new character's youth, I imagine that the regents, as in other fields, prefer to recruit their interns young and groom them.

That's good and interesting news. I suppose, given the short seasons that a lot of shows have these days, an actor could star in two at the same time.

Never mind Dexter - Spartacus: Gods of the Arena! Naked Jamie. Pouring wine on herself. With Lucy Lawless.

Tonight, Episode 4:08 Second Chances

"Pete and Myka head to West Virginia to find out why people are rusting from the inside out."

The online preview shows a great scene that has nothing to do with rusting people...
