Does anyone watch this show? Is it any good?

I just started season 1 on Netflix. I'm four episodes in, and it looks pretty good so far.

It's generic; I like the high-functioning autistic character the most. Wouldn't bother me if it were canceled though.

I saw the first few episodes when season one premiered. I agree with Borgminister, its pretty generic. I like superheroes, but I'm just not interesting in the show.

It's another one of those shows I've started watching but isn't that good, like Grimm and Falling Skies.

I know I'll sound odd but I tend to stick with shows I start, so I'd kind of like it to be canceled...it was a relief when No Ordinary Family, The Cape, Terra Nova, Flash Forward, V, The Event etc. were humanely destroyed !

I like it. I don't enjoy quite as much as some of the other stuff on Syfy, like Warehouse 13 or Lost Girl, but I still find it entertaining.

And the one Alphas thread that has received the most posts so far was the season two updates thread. It unintentionally ended up having more season one discussion than the attempts at actual season one discussion threads...

The original poster, and anyone else curious about the show, should find many opinions there.

I saw the first few episodes when season one premiered. I agree with Borgminister, its pretty generic. I like superheroes, but I'm just not interesting in the show.

I thought the last 3 episodes of season 1 were excellent. Then Ira Steven Behr got fired from showrunner and Bruce Miller (Eureka) took over this season. I personally think this season is not as good as the end of last season but it's still good.
