Sisko's team lost soundly to the Vulcans' Logicians team. How would Sisko's team have fared if Data were on the team?

Because...?I'm sorry, I know this episode was supposed to be whimsical, but after watching this, I wanted to slam my head against a brick wall.

Even during times of war, there are times out for real life things, including recreation.

The episode was ridiculous.
After Billions of lives being at stake episodes prior,
THE MAIN CONFLICT OF THE EPISODE WAS THAT SOME ARROGANT VULCANS COULD BE BETTER THAN CAPTAIN SISKO AT BASEBALL....
Nothing more needs to be said.
Admittedly, it was fun to watch though.
Oh yeah, the thread. I would imagine with Sisko's competitiveness at the beginning of the training, he would make Data the only player on the team, and Data would get a perfect game. At least, before 2379![]()
Fun fact: While Rom was the most incompetent one on the team, Max Grodenchik himself is an excellent player. He almost played in the major leagues, in fact. He had to go out of his way to play as badly as Rom.
Also: Cirroc Lofton is the nephew of Kenny Lofton, who is a veteran (retired) major league player.
