Greetings, I thought I would introduce myself by attempting to initiate a new discussion.
What would you consider the most powerful/moving scene in TNG that did not involve dialogue.
I submit the final scene in the BOBW where Picard goes to sip his tea but lowers the cup and stares out the window. To me this was the first time where an episode didn't simply end with the Enterprise heading off to another adventure after wrapping up another situation. You knew things were not OK and that there was some real lasting damage done to Picard there. The scene was also shot beautifully and paired with a great score. This scene also served as a fantastic segue into "Family" which is one of my favorite episodes of the series.
What are some of yours?
