That reminds me of a certain Calvin & Hobbes strip...Also "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" sounds fascinating.

Sounds like coming up with an attention grabbing title and then getting the worst writer in the history of the New Series to vomit out a story around it.
Whoa, wait, I thought Mark Gatiss was doing a different episode?
Then give Chibnall some slack, too. He's written plenty of good non-Who stuff, including Life on Mars, Law & Order: UK, and even even Torchwood (at least "Fragments" and "Exit Wounds").Whoa, wait, I thought Mark Gatiss was doing a different episode?
No, he's doing two...
I cut him a tiny bit of slack because he's written plenty of good non-Who stuff.
Yeah, and it's not difficult to discern when BBCA will start it. Just look at their schedule as it is now and figure out how their repeat cycle falls out from there. They do a complete cycle of reruns in the lead up to the next series, the last cycle includes the previous series, which they have excluded from the cycle up to that point. So, when you see Series 6 in their Tuesday - Friday schedule, you'll know that Series 7 is "coming soon." As of next Friday, they will be on Voyage of the Damned. Calculate from there, and you can arrive at an approximate due date for Series 7.
Yeah, I wondered if these Sunday DW marathons would be leading up to the premiere of the new season, and it seems that would make sense if one considers series 1, 2 (this past weekend), 3, 4, 4b (specials season), 5, 6, and then the following weekend being Saturday the 25th when we suspect 7 will start.Space hasn't announced anything yet either...although they've started airing "Doctor Who" marathons on Sunday. I believe they're getting ready for next month.
It's August 25th in the UK.
