Good stuff mate, but some of your observations are incorrect, although I can see how you came to some conclusionsNice! The episode of The Outer Limits which originally featured that "Talosian Captive" costume was pretty good.
Constructive criticism time! Of these first four drawings (I assume more will come) this is the weakest. The anatomy makes no structural sense around the shoulder area. You can't chalk this one up to 'he's and alien and his proportions are different' because the problems are mostly symmetry issues and an apparent lack of thinking through the joints in this area. Also the hands are differently sized.
On the other hand, the legs and lower torso are well done and the head (which your version of makes me imagine a scary werewolf version of A.L.F.) are all very nicely drawn. My only nit to pick is that I can't think of any creature in nature which has it's lower jaw longer than it's upper jaw. And the teeth don't seem practical from an 'I eat food" perspective. Teeth invariably point 'in to' the mouth, towards the tongue and the throat. But then, I guess he is an alien after all...
Also, I'm totally cool with your long belly hair. It's a good solution. And I should add that I absolutely love your mugato drawing. Everything about it is awesome. You still have the teeth pointing too far out to be practical to eat with, but I'm okay with that here; the rest of the drawing is so flawless that the teeth here can be written off as dramatic licence. I love your coloring work on the white fur. That's tough to get right and you did an amazing job there.

[Okay, I'm taking a lot of interest in this canine-like creature, which I've never seen before.
I don't suppose anyone knows where I can view any footage or stills of the original?
No mate it does not need to be larger... if it were too large, a biped would fall over. it just needs to be larger by a percentage, not a huge one, just some. it is more massive, and easily seen that it is asymmetrical, but not so much as it would be ridiculous... after all, he's not Nightmare from Soul Caliber, or even a Tyrant from Resident EvilGood stuff mate, but some of your observations are incorrect, although I can see how you came to some conclusionsNice! Maurice is right though about the hands. If they are different, as in akin to a fiddlers crab, the difference should be more prominent. Perhaps one would be an obvious claw arm, with intimidatingly big claws, used for fighting, while the other is smaller, with smaller claws, more naturally dexterous, and used more for handling objects.
Though I suppose since it is a drawing, making changes would require starting all over from scratch, which I know can be a frustrating and time consuming, so I guess this is just something to learn from.
