I had the choice to let her play a bit more with it (and have my home become covered in little black feathers) or put it away.

I flung it out into the yard where it remains.
Dead things apparently aren't fun to play with

I had a terrible dream last night that my cat got out of my house and was lost forever. I was happy to wake up and find her sleeping by my side.

my cat used to play with stuff (generally voles, field mice or slow worms) she caught after she'd killed it until we managed to take it off her.

We have the new kittens! They're adorable.
I'll post pics as soon as I can get a good photo. The places that they're hiding are way too dark.

Oops! Yes, they are grey. It does look a bit like that- it's just one of the same kittens the night before. The yellowy lighting did it.

I'm not exactly sure, but yes most likely Russian blues looking at pictures on wiki. They're just like our last cat coincidentally. I'm pretty sure that they've got some siamese in them and some tabby. They have some faint stripes and one other in the same litter was a full tabby.
