^ I wish I could say that. I don't particularly enjoy driving. I wish I lived in a city like NYC or Chicago or Boston, where I wouldn't need a car. But despite my city's approximately 1,000,000 studies on mass transit, we have what is technically described as "jack shit" in that area.![]()
Do you think you would ever move to one of those cities you list (all of which are fabulous IMHO)?
) but unfortunately I can't even begin to afford such a move. And I admit I love my home and would have a hard time leaving it. But it's nice to dream!

I would dearly love to move to New York, because I have a touristy obsession with it (as most people here would attest) but unfortunately I can't even begin to afford such a move. And I admit I love my home and would have a hard time leaving it. But it's nice to dream!
And here's how pathetic I am: The first time I learned how to ride the NYC subway, I was so proud of myself that I literally did nothing the rest of the day but ride around to various destinations. I am that much of a transit geek.![]()
That's exactly the sort of thing I would do. I like going to destinations I haven't been to before on our trains system
I also have a thing about eating on trains, I really enjoy it
I'm not sure I would feel the same about the NYC subway though I've heard it is not as grotty as when I was on it years ago).

The last manual I had was a 400HP 2005 GTO. Had that for basically 4 summers, since it was un-driveable in the snow.
Also had a 1992 Chevy Beretta which was a manual w/a V-6. Surprisingly quick.
