The Dorito Taco.

I'm getting oddly addicted to this thing.

At first I didn't think it was great, in fact I thought it was a stupid idea but now... It's not too bad. I do wish the taco shell itself was a bit more... Doritoy.

I assume "more Doritoy" means "more MSG." I haven't had one of these. Not sure if want.

Maybe. The taco shell doesn't taste exactly like a Dorito, more like if you took the Dorito dust from the bottom of the bag and sort of sprinkled it on to a taco shell.

Love tacos.

Taco Bell, not so much--and only because I tend to make a whole platter of tacos at home and fix 'em up any way I want (more meat, more cheese, less lettuce, etc).

The fact that you thought the Dorito taco was a bad idea in the first place kind of blows my mind. The minute I heard about it, I thought it was brilliant.

Me, too. For a speedy meal, rather than hit Taco Bell, I just go to the store and get a cooked chicken, a bag of tortillas, and a jar of salsa du jour.

The last time I ate regularly at Taco Bell, tacos were $0.49 on Sundays.

The Dorito taco sounds horrible, but I made my husband eat one. He didn't think much of it one way or the other.

If I want Doritos, I just grab a bag of Doritos. If I want tacos, I make tacos.

Putting them together sounds truly wretched.

One thing Doritos are really good for is meatloaf.

Seriously.

I hate meatloaf, unless it's made with Doritos instead of crackers.

Now I want some.

I find garlic-herb croûtons work good for the binder in meatloaf. I'll have to try Doritos sometime

I had the Dorito Taco a few times, meh. I do like getting the $2 Meal Deal, with either the beef or chicken burrito. Then taking the Doritos, crunch them up and put them on the burrito.

I like Doritos, but Taco Bell's food...not so much. I used to like their grilled stuft burrito but now I've gone right off it.

I actually don't even order lots of tacos in general. If I'm at a good Mexican restaurant I'll have enchiladas.

Can't get myself to try the Dorito Taco, but I love Taco-in-a-bag:

Take a bag of Doritos (the small, luchbox size), crush them up a little and throw in taco meat, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, whatever else you want, mix it up and eat it with a fork.

I'm always up for some crazy-fied food nonsense but I just can't seem to get worked up about this one.

That being said, the Cheesy Gordita Crunch is easily the great fast food offering of all time.

The fine dining for stoned, poor, dorm-dwelling boys everywhere. ;)

I like Doritos and Taco Bell separately, but putting them together sounds gross as hell. I'd rather get a five-layer or two.

Maybe if they came in Cool Ranch flavor, those are my favorite kind of Doritos.
