No, but seriously make sure you use it up before the spoilage date. Bacon is too glorious to toss out to the cats and birds or chuck into the garbage.

Sometimes it actually is a bit of a problem though, I tend to let my taste for bacon decide how much when I go bacon-shopping. This usually results in having bacon for breakfast, lunch, dinner and good-night snack for three or four days... and sometimes (just sometimes mind!) I then eat things from the other food-groups for a couple of days and actually forget ( 
) I have a big lump of bacon in the fridge...
But no biggie; there's the 'farmer's market' only three minutes from here (on foot) twice a week - that's where you can find the good stuff
