You have a good heart (better than mine) but this has gotten ridiculous. If you are an adult who cannot control access to your own account, you have no business having one. If she really is being controlled to that degree, she needs to call a DV helpline IMMEDIATELY. I take that sort of thing very seriously as I spent time working at a shelter. I really truly hope she gets the help that she needs, whether any of this is real or not.
But at this point these posts are messing with people, playing games, and taking advantage of how kind and sympathetic people are. And that really pisses me off. Do NOT take advantage of my friends. Kestra SMASH.
I also have several announcements, related to my personal life:
1. I bought three shirts yesterday.
2. I am expecting delivery of Tina Fey's Bossypants any day now. I bought it on ebay for $7.11.
3. I have an eye doctor's appointment on Monday.
4. I am thinking of switching internet providers.
5. I got notice from United Airlines today that my flight to Washington DC has changed slightly.

You may not have used the word "abuse" specifically, but it's definitely been the extrapolation most of us who have bothered to read your threads have come to, and, I will note, one you have not seen fit to correct or challenge until now.
Example 1: Not quite there yet, but certainly setting up the premise.
Example 2: Rising action!
Example 3: Climax/Denouement.
And before you go and retort that it's different because this wasn't physical abuse, but (allegedly) emotional abuse, save your breath. Emotional abuse can be just as painful, just as damaging and just as awful (sometimes more so) than the physical kind.

Dammit digits, I'll be there at the end of July.
You should, if you have time, check out the meetup forum. The DC crowd is already trying to plan a couple summer get togethers, and they're all a great crowd.
These threads just get weirder and weirder.
I, like MadBaggins from the other thread, am interested in what illness GemHaters actually has? Because when I went back and re-read the original post, it sounded like something lifted directly from Star Trek. After he asked, she then asked for the thread to be closed.
Sorry if I come off as insensitive, but these threads come off as someone begging for attention. The terminal disease, the abusive boyfriend who is only online and the delete my account posts.
I'm starting to feel like someone is trolling us for fun.
