Authors with favorite species.

Yevetha

Commodore
I for one know that Bennet has a thing for the Kreetasans and Betelgeusians.
KRAD loves klingons.
Do any other authors have favorite species?

I can see that with the 'Geusians, but the Kreetassans? I think I've only used them in The Buried Age, and that was just because "Onna Karapleedeez" sounded like it might be from the same language as "Kreetassa."

Sherman/Shwartz and Diane Duane did a lot of stuff with the Vulcans and Romulans.

well I know that Brinkmanship is now aviable for preorder on the nook. other than that no. also so there is a new vanguard novel ready for preorder.

Well, you gave them a few mentions and, I believe, an appearance, in Watching the Clock, but I assume that was simply because we were in Tandar Sector, and Star Charts places them there. So it wouldn't count either.

I think there's a case to be made that Christopher is majorly into humans. They're featured in every one of his books!

Having read a bunch of John Vornholt novels of late, he loves the Antosians, and they're often off-handly mentioned as being bridge crew or security officers.

Yet between Ex Machina and Titan, it's painfully apparent that he hopes to kick the habit, or at least control it somewhat. ;)

That's true. He does that with "forgotten TOS aliens" in general, although I agree Antosians are his favourite. He likes mentioning Coridanites, Ardanans, Tiburonians, etc.

I don't know if it counts as his "favorite," but David R. George III features the Alonis in one way or another in many of his novels.

Perhaps more notably, given that unlike the Alonis they're a canonical species, he also features Frunalians a lot.
