Cast actors for AVENGERS II

The Wasp: Amande Seyfried
The Vision: Christopher Judge
The Scarlet Witch: Thora Birch
Wonder Man: Guy Pearce
Mantis: Bai Ling
The Falcon: Tyrese Gibson
Hercules: Dominic Purcell
Captain Marvel II (female, 1980s): Rosario Dawson
The Black Panther: Samuel L. Jackson
Jarvis the Butler: Peter O'Toole
Spider-Man: Robert Pattinson
The Flash: Paul Bettany
Isis: Meaghan Rath
Dr. Doom: Jeremy Irons
The Leader: Jason Issacs
Doctor Claw: Frank Welker
Graviton: Stephen Lang
Wonder Dog: Frank Welker (voice)
Galactus: Peter Cullen (voice)
The Watcher: Patrick Stewart (voice)

Dr. Doom, Galactus, and Spider-Man are all still owned by other studios. The Flash is a DC character.

Highly unlikely that Samuel L Jackson would play both Nick Fury and Black Panther. Also, Jarvis is already being played by Paul Bettany.

I could get behind Christopher Judge as the Vision, though he would most likely be done through CGI.

Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Goliath/Yellowjacket: Brad Pitt. Blonde and good looking but sort of creepy when need be.
The Wasp: Catherine Bell
The Vision: Zachary Quinto. He's always been the Spock of the team
The Scarlet Witch: Kim Kardashian. Armenian, gypsy, same difference.
Wonder Man: Brandon Routh.
The Swordsman: Cary Elwes.
Mantis: Maggie q
Captain Marvel II (female, 1980s): beyonce. Get the Tweens.
Ms. Marvel: Brooklyn Decker. Just because.
The Falcon: will smith.
Hercules: gerald Butler but playing him like Brian Blessed.
The Black Knight: Daniel Craig.
The She-Hulk: CGI. voice of Aisha Tyler
Rage: rage? You're seriously asking about Rage? He's the Vibe of Marvel. Pass.
The Black Panther: Denzel.
Quicksilver: Orlando Bloom
Crystal: Emma Stone
Rick Jones: Zachary Efron
Starfox: Roman Polanski, for all the rape action.
and, just for laughs, the live-action Jarvis the butler: is the guy who played Higgens on Magnum PI still around?

Hate to be that guy, but shouldn't this be in Science Fiction/Fantasy... with the other Avengers thread? And other comic book related stuff?

And to answer the question: Nathan Fillion. For all of them.

The Wasp: Catherine Bell

Who's 43 years old. I imagine Jan as being younger than that (at least, assuming her characterization in the animated series is typical).

The Scarlet Witch: Kim Kardashian. Armenian, gypsy, same difference.

Well, there is a significant difference between the two ethnic groups (and "Gypsy" is an incorrect and often derogatory label for the Romani people), but I'll concede that actors are often cast as characters of different ethnicities. So the important question is, can she actually act? Surely there must be better choices.

Ms. Marvel: Brooklyn Decker. Just because.

Conversely, at 25 she seems too young to play an Air Force major. Carol Danvers is pretty much the most prominent solo female hero in the Marvel Universe these days, and she's not a role to be cast just for looks and sex appeal. The Fantastic Four movies made that mistake with Jessica Alba. For a character like Carol, you need to cast an actress with maturity, presence, and strength, someone who's been around the block a few times.

and, just for laughs, the live-action Jarvis the butler: is the guy who played Higgens on Magnum PI still around?

John Hillerman is alive but retired from acting in 2009.

And as someone already mentioned, in the movieverse, JARVIS is an AI voiced by Paul Bettany. Apparently they fused the character with the various AI assistants Tony has used in the comics over the years.

She's still hot, she looks like Jan and why can't she be middle aged, especially when you consider the history she has with Hank in the 616 universe?

The Scarlet Witch: Kim Kardashian. Armenian, gypsy, same difference.

You might have noticed some of my suggestions were a bit tongue in cheek. That was one of them.

Okay. So we'll put a blond wig on Catherine Bell and a brunette one on Brooklyn Decker and switch roles. Happy now. ;)

Yes, but the whole point was to cast the "real" Earth 616 Jarvis, not the computer voice in the movie. Bettany looks nothing like the comic book character.

Ideally?

Have 20th-Century Fox and Paramount make the deal of the decade: Fox loans, for The Avengers films, the rights to Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman added to the cast. Imagine the awesomeness....

Moon Knight: Robert Downey Jr. They could put er, a blonde wig on him or something and not let Spector stand next to Stark in any scenes.
Beast: CGI, voiced by Morgan Freeman.

Hercules: gerald Butler but playing him like Brian Blessed.

How about Hercules played by Gerald Butler, but dubbed over with Brian Blessed's voice?

Joss or Kevin Fiege has stated over the course of the past year that there will only most likely be a couple off new characters added to the roster for a sequel. Don't bother attempting to cast an Ant-Man as Marvel Studios wants to put out the solo film that Edgar Wright co-wrote first, which is one of the reasons why he was not in "Avengers".

Ant-Man/Giant-Man/Goliath/Yellowjacket-Alan Tudyk
The Wasp-Summer Glau
The Vision-Jim Parsons
The Scarlet Witch-Meaghan Rath
Wonder Man-Sam Witwer
The Swordsman-Ed Quinn
Mantis-Daichen Lachman
Captain Marvel II (female, 1980s)-Jasika Nicole
Ms. Marvel-Katie Sackhoff
The Black Panther-Edris Elba

Ant-Man...I'm going obvious: Nathan Fillion. I still like the rumour from a couple years ago for Janet, Eva Longoria. Carol: either Katee Sackoff, or Yvonne Stravorski.

The Vision: Zachary Quinto. He's always been the Spock of the team

Great idea! :bolian:

The Scarlet Witch: Kim Kardashian. Armenian, gypsy, same difference.
The badness of this idea invalidates the greatness of your previous idea. :rommie:

Are you thinking of the beautiful dynamic powerful mothering figure from the 60's, 70's and most of the 80s...

In recent years we found out that her children were a psychotic affliction that escaped the psychosis between her ears, which eventually lead to the confrontation with the Avengers that left a string of hero corpses (Hawkeye, Antman, Jack of Hearts, the Vision, others...) and the all but annihilation of the mutant species.

Wanda Maximoff is the wackjob who turned down marriage with zombie fungus from beyond the stars to mother space Jesus, to get hitched to a toaster by the Avengers greatest villain.

Her father is literally and sincerely comparable to Adolf Hitler, and most people think she slept with her brother... Without accounting for her rcent history where this woman tied the knot with Victor VonDoom because she believed that she could change him.

I care little for Kim, but the only person more qualified to play the Scarlet Witch in a movie than Miss Kardashian is a young Sean Penn.

Not a typo.

I did not mean a young Sean Young.

Only Sean Penn trying to survive living with Madonna brings the essential maximoffian sort of crazy to the table to cream this woman the justice she deserves as the worlds chief dingbat.

They couldn't use Beast, since 20th Century Fox has the film rights to the character.

Just create a new character that's like Beast but isn't.

Fans love that sort of thing. Right? ;)

(Actually, given comic book universe's redundancies, there probably is such a character.)
