High Heels Are, Quite Literally, For Morons

The position of Oolong organic futures have remained constant on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Wow, that is a lot of hate.

What hate? I see a lot of disagreement here, but not hate.

It makes me sad to see how little effect Star Trek has had on you people.

You watch the same Star Trek that I do? The one that dresses its females in skin-tight catsuits? That has Troi using more make-up in one season than I have in my entire life? That shows characters wearing earrings and other jewelry, (though generally not in Starfleet uniform)?

^Was this just a case of smilies not sufficiently expressing the light-hearted nature of my post? because I find being called tactless a bit harsh -- but I realize this form of communication does lend itself especially well to misinterpretation.

I'm sorry to drop in unannounced like this. But John left his computer on and I saw your post. I kind of feel like its my fault. I want to finish this before wakes up and stops drooling all over the couch. Like John wrote, he wasn't quite himself and he can be tightly wound sometimes. I think he once told me one of you described him as outlandish, which can be, at times, spot on accurate, but everyone has their moment of craziness, I reckon.

Bottom line, he likes to compartmentalize, to keep in all in. And when he finally snaps, well, let's just say that his temper is legendary. You didn't quite catch him at his worst because he almost never drinks, and if he does its just a glass of scotch. He sampled his whiskey collection last night.

The point is that we had a misunderstanding, that's far too long and far too personal to go into right now, and instead of correcting him like I should've, I used the opportunity to do some digging and see how he'd react. Our friends don't call John "the Doc" for nothing, he fixes things, but I tend to mess things up. And this time I didn't just hit the nail on its head, I put a batch of C4 on it and blew it (and the neighbourhood) to kingdom come. He'd never admit it, but I think I hurt him pretty bad. I don't quite think saying that I hit a sore spot covers it.

Anyway, I think he's going to apologize later, because while John can get harsh, he always realizes it later. But I just wanted to put in my two cents, he was already angry when he responded to you post, but you weren't the one who set him off.

Over and out,

Love
Sara

PS: That wasn't too British, was it? John tells me some of you have a problem with us.

Alright... Its official. I'm an ass.

The show that's also shown women wearing... HIGH HEELS!

And some pretty elaborate earrings at that. This babe could probably pick up subspace radio with hers:

And are those earrings or miniature wind chimes?

The long necks and narrow jaw lines make for a yummy image with those ear rings. Great looks on both ladies.

No worries, I'm not easily offended. I just found the whole exchange rather baffling, to be honest.

Wow, that is a lot of hate.

I guess I shouldn't mention the fact that the origin of lipstick was so the pharaoh knew which slaves specialized in fellatio.

It makes me sad to see how little effect Star Trek has had on you people. You indignantly justify shallow and painful practices because you have been conditioned that way.

Fuck it. Be simple. Enjoy.

I still like wearing high-heel shoes. But I can only those under 4" only (getting older does that to a gal :( ).
Babe, you need to get that big stick out of your rear-end.
I seldom wear make-up because my face break out too easily. I only wear earrings on special occasions.
I don't know what your problem is with women and our accessories, but I respect your principles. No matter how silly it is.

Not really, unless they try to mess with American politics!!
