Harmony Gold says no, despite this not making any since seeing as SDF Macross got a U.S. release and this is basically the movie version of that.

Plus there was a VHS release of DO YOU REMEMBER LOVE back when Robotech was still popular.

This is the only Macross I've ever been exposed to. Thought it was great.

I just dug out of storage my VHS copy of Macross: Do You Remember Love a month ago and watched it. I watched the hell out of it when I first got it at a star trek convention in the 80s and the picture was definitely worse for wear.

My wife's a big Robotech fan and she recently found a copy of this that "fell off a digital truck". Hard to get her excited about physical media releases of things like this when it's so much easier to do a download. If you make it easier for me to buy, I will buy it. Why is that so hard to understand?

Great looking package by the way.

Well, I'm not opposed to imports especially for BD since Japan and the US share the same region code. However, that's only if the title looks like it has zero chance of being licensed here, my demand for the product is high enough, and if it has English subtitles. This release qualifies for the first two, but not, seemingly, the third...which is sadly a deal breaker. No point in owning something if I can't understand it.

I got a copy of something called "Clash of the Bionoids" way back when. It was a movie based on the Japanese Macross series but it was absolutely horrible- or at least maybe it was because of the dubbing. Was that and this the same thing?

"Clash of the Bionoids" is a heavily edited awful English dub of "Macross: Do You Remember Love?".
