JJ Abrams is pissed over leaked photos

Knowing Bob's sense of humor I figured he was messing with people.

And alas, we still know nothing about the villain.

Copy/pasting from here:

The Raleigh Studios in Playa Vista CA does look to be the back lot where the containers were located in last weeks pictures.

Load this into Bing Maps, and do the Bird's Eye view option.

Zoom and rotate, you'll see how the houses on the hill seem to match up as well.

I think you might be right about that. Maybe doubleoh might be able to verify.

I'm still not too sure about the validity of filming at the AB brewery again for this movie. Some of these reports just seem to be a rehash of the 2009 locations.

Unless we have someone here from Team Abrams spreading miss-information.

Maybe Charlie is a reference to the type of character or the character's agenda? Orci has a habit of doing that.

Remake of "A Private Little War", on a jungle planet? With a space barge bringing a shipment of weapons for the Federation side, and Benedict Klingonspybatch trying to sabotage it?

Oh really, Abrams is pissed over a series of photos that reveal shit all about the movie? The only thing we learn is that Cumberbatch will wear a Starfleet uniform.

Most producers or directors talk about their movie as a means of bringing attention to the film. Abrams needs to get over his draconian ways and accept that knowledge of a film does not ruin it.

There still has been no corroboration that JJ was pissed, and many believe the "leak" was authorized.

Yea, some knowledge of a film isn't damaging, but, the more you let out, the more that will make itself out that isn't authorized, and that could damage the film, I certainly don't want to know plot twists before I see the movie. Plus, it's still over a year before the movie comes out, whatever comes out now, is old news a year from now.

I do like that he tries to keep things secret, though. It makes the run up to the movie's release a bit more fun as fans pry tidbits from his tight fist.

Of course, if I were him, I'd engage in a little disinformation, too. Hire a certain fan of local repute to get dressed up as an Andorian in a TWOK or TNG uniform and then briefly interact in the outdoor shots with Quinto, for example.

Which is a very big leak. Imagine if Cumberbatch is an alien, say a Klingon for the entire movie and that leaked footage is from a scene towards the end?! Everyone will be watching the whole film waiting for those scenes to be revealed. It could be a very serious leak.

You raise a good point. Or more accurately, I did when I posted the exact same thing in page 3 of this thread.

Great SCOTT!

You managed to plagiarize leahsguide's post even before he posted it ... you're insidious!
