Um, what? we're just seeing what order 5 films happen in, over a few months. How exactly does that in any way come close to the stardate fiasco? oh wait, it doesn't.

Hulk, Thor and Iron Man 2 happen at the same time by the looks of it. I thought Hulk happened a year or so prior given Selvig's remark about Banner in Thor.

All Selvig said was that he had a colleague who worked with gamma radiation and disappeared shortly after getting involved with the government. He didn't specify how long ago it had happened. Banner had been on the run for about five years when TIH opens in Brazil, so Selvig's comment still works.

Hulk is the only on I haven't watched so far, so wasn't sure about it's timing.

When The Avengers comes out on BD, I hope to see a boxset including it and BD versions of the "origin movies" for all the other characters. (Which, of course, would include both Iron Man movies, Captain America, Thor and The Hulk.)

Not sure this could happen given that different studios distributed those various films.

Only The Hulk, the others all came from Paramount.

It'd settle for podcast like short story snippets for each of the characters set before the film.

Indeed, and I love the subtle little Black Widow marking on the belt buckle. With that and Tony's Black Sabbeth shirt it looks like we've got a ton of little homages etc to enjoy too.

Only The Hulk, the others all came from Paramount.

And The Avengers is being distributed by Disney. Three different studios. Not likely to come together for one boxed set.

Disney and Paramount came to an agreement over Disney distributing Avengers but giving Paramount credit and no doubt some bank. I could easily see a similar arrangement being reached over a boxset with both Universal and Paramount.
