As I step out the front door, hoping that there might be auroras in Fresno, Hubby asks what I'm doing. "Massive coronal ejection," like that explains everything.

It's still low levels here, just above 1 on the K-Index (5 becomes visible, 7+ is a fireworks show).

Have got clear skies all night so hoping for the best.

Yeah, I can already see them where I am up north, so I can only imagine they'd be even more vibrant under good conditions. I might have to take you up on that challenge of taking pictures of them

With RJ about five minutes directly North of me, my chances of seeing any Boston are slim to none. Or his Borealis

Saw nothing. Levels got as high as four but nothing became visible. Clear skies all night too.
