but they won't be on the same scale of the story that Moriarty broke in "07". The creative team behind the sequel most likely learned their lesson with the first film.

Moriarty and his informers were shoved out an airlock.

The last time I heard something about the film was the whole Kahn thing. I will be really really really disappointed if it's Kahn. Remember, they're in an alternate universe, they don't need to follow the same format. If they bring back Kahn, than just for shits and giggle I will forever demand that they bring back George and Gracie.

So did a lot of mainstream people who weren't even Star Trek fans at the time. Hell, thinking about it, I would rather see them bring back the Whales than Bring back Khan from a "how can we get the general public interested in this movie" standpoint.

Lol, sorry M'Sharak. I didn't mean that comment to sound so harsh and yes my campaign to get Shatner in this film will shortly : )

It's only a matter of time before a big leak comes out about the basic plot of this film.

I just want to find out what villain Crumby is playing - that's going to be part of the publicity campaign anyway, so there's no hiding from that spoiler - and then I plan to ban myself from this forum till the premiere.

Assuming I somehow gain amazing powers of self-control between now than then, that is.

If you remember we pretty much knew that entire outline of the plot about a year and a half before the movie debuted due to AICN coming up with a huge scoop.

When do you think someone will come up with something interesting about this film?

When someone convinces JJ that it's okay to do so and no one will hate his movie if they know more about it.
